PAMPERED & UNIQUE

*ULTRA RARE*

I CODE “LIME GOLD POLY”

2 OWNER HISTORIC PONY!!!

There are only a few times in life when you can truly say that you have stumbled across a special find or maybe have been in the right place at the right time.

Well let me say that I was in that exact situation when I ran across this super special historic Mustang!

This two owner pony car performs better than she looks & it is covered in a color that turns every head on the street!

Kick back & enjoy the pictures and a few details regarding this incredible car!

First let me say that I am an avid Ford fan & a Mustang enthusiast at heart. While I have come across some pretty interesting cars through the years, his vintage Mustang has to be one of my all time favorites!

Anyway I began my search for a car that could be considered worthy enough to retain a place in my permanent stable years ago. After spending much time & effort conducting my search I happened to run across this Mustang in the Mid West.

One of the first things that caught my attention besides the beauty of the car itself was its historic significance! This pony turned out to be previously owned by (Racing Legend & St. Louis Icon Samuel Fetter, r. ) for over 2 decades! I actually have the death certificate and documentation to prove that fact.

At any rate you can find several articles that praise his contribution to the muscle car world!

Also during my research I gathered information showing that the car was actually ordered by the first owner in Malden Missouri.

From my understanding he was absolutely tickled to death with Fords New Lime Poly color & of course the 1969 Mustang Convertible itself.

This little Mustang was designated to be ordered fully loaded! “That’s right” the original owner wanted the works (power steering, ower disc brakes & power top) still all working perfectly!

However the color was what seemed to really get his motor running! If you are tired of the typical red, lue, lack & white muscle cars that plague the street today “consider this one the cure”!

You literally can’t make it a city block without someone giving you the ole thumbs up or taking a picture of it with their cell phone!

The car has only been repainted once outside its factory covering from Dearborn & let me say that it is absolutely stunning!

It seems that after the first owner relinquished ownership of the vehicle in 1998, r. Fetter decided that he would repaint it.

I would like to say that he was not only a race car legend, e was an all around great guy (by most he was also considered to be a perfectionist)!

Most would also say that he was a pretty serious car collector but, nly a few made it to his private collection. This Mustang could be considered Exhibit A!

The car was garaged the entire time that he owned it!

Anyway before the car was painted in 2008, t was stripped to bare metal. A retired body man did the dirty work & all signs show that it must have been a labor of love!

With just one glance at the car you inherently begin to imagine how many man hours it must have taken to get the car to its current condition.

There are literally no wavy bondo body panels or imperfections that stand out at all!

The exterior is simply blinding in direct sunlight & continues to mystify as it seems to transform into a subtle shade of lime / gold by night!

THIS IS A MUST SEE TO APPRECIATE VEHICLE!!!

I myself & several others have been impressed by the craftsmanship regarding the paint work.

As you continue to make your way around the vehicle you begin to notice even the minute details have been addressed.

This classic Ford has totally refurbished bumpers with a restored grill. You will also fine excellent chrome work around the circumference of the vehicle! The quarter ornaments have been restored along with the back up lights. The grill moldings are in fantastic shape as well as the door handles! Even the ever so rare trunk edge moldings have been restored!

In 1969 the Mustang had become notorious for having door glass issues. It would seem most would come off track as the manufacturer actually used adhesive to secure the glass. It has always been a hassle to take the door apart and find a better way to secure this item. No worries here (all of the hard work has been done for you) the glass was removed and fastened with upgraded hardware that Ford actually went to in 1970. In other words the door glass is firmly attached & in excellent condition along with new door glass edge moldings!

Staying with that theme, ou will also find that the front windshield is in superior condition! No damage to speak of (chips, racks, tc).

Basically for all intensive purposes this Mustang presents the perfect picture!

Now that we have talked about the exterior let us look at what this pony has in store inside!

Upon opening the door of this magnificent Mustang you will immediately notice that this vehicle has been meticulously maintained! Just about every stitch of the interior has either been restored or refurbished! The color combination is simply striking!

The Lime Gold Poly exterior & Raven Black interior have the perfect contrast!

The seats are in excellent shape! There are no rips, ears or stains to speak of. The covers have been recently replaced. The seat buns & cushions were replaced at this time as well. This Mustang is truly comfortable & a blast to drive!

The door arm rest are in phenomenal condition & yet are believed to be original to the car. Another gold star goes to the factory dash pad! The original pad looks as if it had just been freshly installed! It is not faded or damaged in any way! Most Mustang fans tend to use a dash pad cover to hide old worn out dash pads.

They take that route out because replacing them is not only expensive “it is also tedious”!

No worries here….the dash pad is in fantastic condition!

Another great amenity regarding this Mustangs interior is the upgraded optional center console! The console & T handle shifter add just the right touch to this pony!

Both of these items are in excellent condition as well!

The standard black Ford door panels are in great shape also (damage free).

Now if you know classic Mustangs you are probably familiar with the ever present “cracked or cracking” steering wheel! Let me take time to say “that the steering wheel, orn pad & horn ring are in show condition!

Continuing our inspection of the interior you will also find a super nice set of factory kick panels! The carpet & window cranks are also very nice!

It doesn’t stop there. All of the interior & exterior lights work perfectly as well. All the illumination elements throughout are shining bright (including the dash board lights)! The high beam lights are also functioning properly.

When cruising any classic car around town you probably want to have a working radio dialed into an oldies station to take you right back to the time when you didn’t have a wife who scolded you for buying a muscle car (can’t help you there)! However the good news is that this classic Mustang does have a vintage Ford radio operates properly. These radios when in original condition & working properly are worth big bucks!

The radio in this Mustang is in as new condition!

When you peek in the trunk you will find that it is in great shape & also packed full of goodies!

Original convertible boot is in excellent condition!

To summarize the first part of the detailed information regarding this Mustang I can say with confidence that the car plays its part well (at any time) SHOW OR GO!

This car has a bulldog aggressive stance that is supported by a spank brand new set of magnum 500 wheels & iconic raised white letter BFG radials! This pony handles well and makes you look for a reason to take her out of the garage! There has also been a plethora of suspension parts replaced (tracks very well)!

You want 1960’s Nostalgia…?

This Muscle Mustang has a bold looking Mach 1 style hood scoop with integrated turn signals that sits smack dab on top of the hood.

Although some 69-70 Mustangs have this awesome option “most owners forget that the signals on the hood are actually designed to work! It’s an honor for me to say that the ones on this pony are functioning properly!

The scoop actually makes this rag top look even more menacing as she rolls down the freeway!

The owners of the new Mustangs, amaros & Dodge cars always show you respect!

The black convertible canvas top on the car is in excellent shape! As previously mentioned it has the power option!

Now we all know for most part Mustang isn’t really a Mustang without having a V/8 under the hood!

It is my pleasure to ensure you that you won’t be disappointed here! This particular pony came from the factory with the durable 302 engine! The motor in this one runs like a top! She has plenty of power! The car has recently had new plugs, ires, ap, otor, tc!

It also has a fairly new radiator to help keep things cool under the hood along with new hoses & belts!

This car can be considered extremely user friendly! No hard starts or issues at all during operation.

There’s even more…. You’ll find that this pony car still has the factory breather & intake!

I absolutely love taking this car out for a cruise! It just seems to beg for more each and every time you go motoring!

There is a brace bar that has been installed under the hood also for better handling! It also has new power steering components along with many new brake lines, tc!

The high water marks don’t stop there! The car has a beautiful trunk mat & spare tire cover (with spare)!

Both previous owners were very protective of this Mustang & I feel that the possible new owner will cherish it as much as they did!

It is a special car!

This Ford came factory equipped with a C-4 Transmission “which now has been completely rebuilt”! This pony gallops strong and simply goes through the gears with ease!

The crowd abroad will hear you coming before the car has been made manifest “thanks in part to the dual chambered exhaust system”!

This pony car has a nice set of flow master mufflers installed too boot!

She really sings a sweet note with just on twist of the key!

In closing I would like to say that this Vintage Ford is just the right car to add to your collection!

It is easy to operate and fun enough to drive! Unlike some of the big overbearing Muscle cars “you can actually take wife & kids out for ice cream in a car that they can enjoy as well!

Be prepared to be the envy of your neighborhood when she sits in your driveway!

Nonetheless this is a quality investment worth considering!

Now ….there is an old saying “you get what you pay for”….although this statement is very true in this case I believe you are getting more!

I have a very reasonable price in mind for the caliber vehicle that this car is!

I have spoke to many people in the past who have had their experience ruined when purchasing a classic car by buying a rusty vehicle! Repair can be quite costly for making this sort of mistake! The good news here is that this Mustang is just as nice underneath as she is up top! The floors, orque boxes & frame rails are all rock solid! The quarter drop offs and rockers are in great shape as well (please see photos).

This car is a smart buy ….. There is literally nothing to do but get in and start enjoying your new toy!
