Description

1934 Ford fordor sedan. This is an outstanding example of an original unrestored 34 Ford sedan.Has the classic Flathead V8.This car sat many years before I purchased it.It has 35,000 actual miles and a clear Indiana title to prove it.It appears to be original paint maybe touched up in a place or two. There is no rust thru anywhere except for a small place in valance under radiator. There are very few dings or dents,a small dent behind the top hinge on drivers door. The paint is dark green with lime green pinstripe. No the paint is not perfect but the patina is great. The roof insert is good, there is some tape on the edge where it has come loose in a couple places. The interior is pretty darned good. There is a small hole in the headliner the size of a silver dollar. The very front of the headliner has come loose behind the visor in a couple small areas.Door panels are good,Floor mat is decent except for area under drivers feet above battery.I decided to make it run and what that involved was cleaning the carb, the tank and filing the points.Someone installed an electric fuel pump years ago and it was bad so I replaced it with a new 6 volt pump. After this was done I put in a battery and it lit right up.Sounds good no knocks or smoke, probably needs the valves adjusted but they are not very noisy.I have driven about 10 miles and it runs, drives and shifts good. The generator puts out a charge some of the time I would guess it needs a new cutout.Brakes are real good. The grille shell is super straight, not much chrome but great shape.Under the car is not much paint but the frame is great and no rot .The glass is good except windshield is foggy around the edge. The speedometer works as well as amp meter, but the gas gauge needs replaced.I would say it is 99% original, other than the electric fuel pump. This car is way to good to restore,it is cool to see these survivors in there unrestored condition. If I were going to drive any distance the tires should be replaced. The old ones do stay up.You will have to look a long time to find a 34 like this.I dont have a buy it now .Please ask all questions before bidding.Sold as is no warranty, buyer pays all shipping. To be paid in full 7 days after auction ends.Prefer no paypal.
