1939 Ford standard Sedan No Reserve flathead Great Driver!

I am Selling this 1939 Ford for a close friend. This is a 1939 Ford Standard 2 door sedan. It had a veryamateur restoration done in the eighties. It was in storage until 4 years ago when my friend purchased it. Since then he has driven it very regularly with no issues. I have driven it as well both on the interstate and backroads and it drives very well, nd very very dependable.
Before the car was put into storage the engine was rebuilt, nd balanced. When checked after storage it still had a great 110 psi compression on all cylinders and runs cool and purrs like a kitten. It has great power and again NEVER overheats. Engine rebuilt has around 1500 miles on it.

The paint is a old lacquer job that could use some attention. If I owned it I would leave as-is and drive it but someone may wish to touch-up and wet sand and buff it. The interior chrome strip is missing on the RF door panel. The interior is a old Lebaron Bonney kit. Woodgraining is still nice. The RF door glass has some delamination, nd the LR glass has a crack. Front bumper has some surface rust. The floors from the rear seat riser to the toe boards were replaced with galvanized sheet steel back when the car was restored.
This is not a show car but a great driver. You could easily drive it home. It starts up every tine first revolution.
