Original owner 2013 Shelby GT500 with 17,878 miles. I drove the car off the lot at Perry Ford in Santa Barbara, A in December, 013. Unlike most GT500's, his one is bone stock and has never been modified, ight down to the original paper air filter. It has every option available from Ford minus the glass roof. Due to changing family circumstances, he time has come to purchase a larger family vehicle, o regrettably the Shelby must go. I welcome anyone in the Southern California area to call or text me at 805-680-7960 with questions or to schedule a viewing. Due to the rarity and power of these vehicles, here will be no test drives until a deposit has been received. Garaged since day 1, he paint is as deep as when it was new. There are some very minor hazing marks underneath the steering wheel from entry/exit but they cannot be seen unless you were to climb into the pedal area for inspection. There is a miniature ding just forward of the fuel filler door on the driver's side about the size of a black bean (pictured). Lastly, he driver's side front wheel has light curb scratching (pictured). Other than these flaws, he car presents as new. Prospective buyers are more than welcome to request up-close pictures of any area of the car they would like to see more of. There has never been any paint work done, nd the Carfax report is clean and clear. This Shelby is the last Shelby built on Carroll Shelby's watch. He passed away in May of 2012 and since then they have hung up their shoes on the Shelby GT500 line. OPTION SPECIFICS: Auxiliary oil cooler; Auxiliary transmission cooler; Differential cooler with pump; Requires: [821A]

And while it may be tempting to call this new a front-heavy straight-line rocket, ord's SVT crew has improved the car in several areas to create a well-balanced GT that's totally at home on a road course yet remarkably civil in everyday situations. The heart of the new 2013 Shelby GT500 is its dohc 5.8-liter V-8, hich has the same stroke as the previous 5.4 but has had its bore increased from 90.5 to 93.5 mm. This 32-valve V-8, ith block cast by Hansel in Germany, s built to produce (and handle) all that new power, ith forged crank, pistons and rods, amshafts similar to those used in the supercar, ncreased fuel injector flow, mproved head gaskets and robust Stellite-faced exhaust valves that withstand the added cylinder pressure. Of note, he redline remains at 6250 rpm, ut an over-rev function to 7000 rpm is allowed for up to eight seconds, n part to help prevent the GT500 from hitting its rev limiter during shifts in acceleration runs so 0-60 mph and quarter-mile times can be faster. Other vitals: The compression ratio has been bumped from 8.4 to 9.0:1, nd peak boost—provided by a new 2.3-liter Roots-type TVS blower with a 33 percent larger inlet and a 69-mm pulley (down from 72)—has risen from 9 psi to 14. The previous 5.4 had cast-iron cylinder liners, whereas the 5.8-liter V-8—a true 351 cubic inch V-8—employs plasma-transferred wire arc cylinder liner technology. This super thin (150 microns) spray-on bore surface saves about 1 lb. per cylinder while having the added benefit of reduced friction, ess heat transfer and improved durability. | |||
