1981 Ford Mustang LX

1981 Mustang LX. very, ery clean for its age. (Please remember this car is 35 years old). Mechanically the car is perfect. Car was originally 4 cylinder and someone dropped a 302 with a T5 in it.
Car only has 5 digit odometer. Currently around 89k. Unknown if it has rolled over or not. Clean clear Michigan title lists the mileage as exempt.
The only reason I'm selling this car is because it's basically an ideal street car - quick, ood looks. I'm looking to go more of a drag route and want to build a notch back - otherwise I'd keep it.

Brand new in 2015:-1991 seats (used but in very good shape - no rips or tears)
-new carpet & headliner
-5 lug conversion
-95 mustang disc all 4 corners (replaced master cylinder, rand new drilled and slotted rotors, s well as brand new 95 mustang calipers powder coated red)
-new struts and shocks
-new lowering springs
-upper/lower aftermarket control arms (adjustable)
-new weather stripping on doors and hatch
-new starter
-carb rebuilt
-new battery
-Functional Boss hood scoop
-New 18x9/18x10 bullitt replicas with Toyo tires.
-New exhaust dumps, o more side pipes.
-Completely rebuilt 8.8 rearend (new bearings, eals, 73 gears, nd Detroit locker)
- Hurst short throw shifter with matching plate.

The Bad:
-The paint is original. Bumpers are faded, oldings could use a painting. Some rock chips and scratches.
- The hatch has a bubble of rust on it about the size of a half dollar. Bumpers are faded. There is slight bubbling in paint on pillars behind side windows. Slight surface rust on front frame rails. (All of this can be easily repaired by competent body man)
-tachometer only goes to 2000rpm and stops. I have an OEM replacement that will go along with car, s well as LED white bulbs to make gauges brighter. Just have not had time to install.
- Front tires can rub over big bumps (never rolled fenders in front. Easy fix)
