1985 mustang

This is an all original, 37k actual miles example of a 1985 mustang. Survivor! It is a rare Regatta Blue with original excellent interior. Only 3 owners since new!! The car was purchased new in 1985 from Schaumburg/Woodfield ford and the first owner only put 1090 miles on it by 1996. The second owner had it up until 2008 and put 33,000 miles on it. My family member purchased it in 2008 and has since logged an additional 3100 miles since then. The car comes with a list of all services and maintenance since 1996 and other documentation. The stereo was upgraded and the factory shifter was changed out for a hurst short throw shifter. Flow master mufflers installed for a great sound. All original parts were kept.
Within the past year the original shocks and struts were changed out along with a new set of tire and battery. The car rides and drives like new.
What makes it unique is that it was ordered as a muscle car. The 5.0 performance engine and stick shift in the lighter weight LX body with no options! No power accessories, No air conditioning, nothing. Does have factory power steering and brakes which was standard features.
Cars equipped like this have proven to be a sought after collector piece. All thrills, no frills.
Over the last few seasons, I have had this car out to shows and cruise nights. It gets a lot of attention and has a strong following.Again, this has been cared for by our family for the past 8 years and is a great car.
