Description

We are moving and will not have room at our new location so selling this project and a couple cars. . '31 Vicky with NY transferable current '32 registration. was almost rust free car when project started & taken apart completely The last pic is a pic of original car as I found it before I sandblasted in and out and under. ( have pics). Solid original wood, floor & sills varnished and sealed. All window mechanisms cleaned and lubed and excellent, installed new window fuzzie tracks with new safety glass. New strikers and door checks, Rebuilt latches, Dash modified for gauges to be installed in center with gas tank gutted for wiring and controls per conversion info on internet.. All inner mldgs painted blue to match outer color. "NO GARNISH mldgs" except windscreen pr. . No windshield frame. new ws chrome swing arms and nuts. Recessed Brookville firewall installed. Gas filler hole removed. Nice solid front fenders blasted & primed. Rt rear same, New Lft rear Brookville fendr & New Brookville Running boards w/SS tri, Pr. splash aprons in unopened boxes. Set of 5 ea. 17" Ford wire wheels sandblasted, primed & 4 now in black urethane. These were exceptional wheels to start.( they had nice one coat factory red to start & no rust) . Body is on roll around cart for easy trailer loading. 6 coats 2003-2006 G.M. Saphire Blue Metalic, with 3 coats clear. Un- rubbed currently. three '51-'53 blocks were hot tanked & magnafluxed. One had almost no cracks around head bolt holes Ford blocks are known for cracks there. This block was punched 3/16 O.S. & fitted with new Johnson lifters ( Reds Headers), The block is drilled to adjust them. Two full sets of original "MERC" rods were rebuilt top & bottom including maching new pin bushings. The 8 with closest matching weight were then machined & re-balanced as a matching set. Merc. cam was reworked to similar to Isky 400 JR specs by "GO CAT" Hot Rod Shop & as well they rebuilt the pair of '94 Carbs. Crank is 4" Merc, oil plugs drilled ou, then crank internally cleaned & refinished & balanced. All bearings are "NOS" . The new "OFFY" parts are the 2 deuce intake, piston se, & special # 512 heads. Offy pistons were rebalanced for closer weight match. Block was hot tanked 5 times as it was cleaned every time it had machine work done. Water passages are exceptional !! Surfaces are all decked and true. Motor machine work was done by T-W Machine in Fairport NY. by Tom. All moving parts were matched and balanced same as their racing engines. New HD oil pump, new cam & crank gears, Included is a new fuel pump & rod, assorted engine parts like fan, oil filter canister, dizzy etc. Various oil pan types, As I had not made up my mind about a tranny I procured : 3 spd stick tranny from '53 For, a C6 automatic with OD, rebuilt with 6000 miles w/torque converter,, about a half dozen assorted bell housings ( all different) and clutches including one plate that will install a T 5. I was going to use a PETE & JAKES or BROOKSVILLE Chassis and you will need a chassis as there is none included !!. Bucket seats that fit are included. This was a Leather back Canadian body ( One of 2 known ) & I had intended to recover the top in Tan to go with the blue. The center of roof is steel ( no longer chicken wire & padding). As I was going too use a '32 rad & shell with '32 hood I procured a current 2016-2017 New York transferable registration ( N Y does not title cars prior to 1974). I will post all the pics Ebay let's me, but I have more if desired. I have about 20,000 invested in this project. Title and car will transfer only with cash in hand or certified and cleared bank check. I will not ship. As EBAY requires mileage on cars I put in 100 miles but obviously that is incorrect. A couple pics show body as it was being low pressures sandblasted. Also included is the fairly rare rear valance that bolts to lower body ahead of the bumper. All bumpers and brackets are included. A new stainless Cowl band is now installed on body. A full set of new chrome intake & head bolt acorn nut covers & full ss trim screw set is included.I have had a few people ask ARE YOU SELLING 3 bodies ? Answer is "NO'. Pictures show the body as it was worked on at various stages until now it is Blue. Any questions plz call me at 585-315-8609. New locking 1932 door handles are now installed.
