Description

1990 Fox Body Mustang Convertible
I built this car with the full intention of keeping it. It was built with the finest parts available. Pictures do not do justice. Please read...My loss is your gain...I have OVER $17,000 in this car. I built it to keep it. Just the long block of the crate motor was $5,000...It's a gorgeous car and has spent the past 18 years inside in a slow and methodical restoration.
1990 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. This is of the Fox body Mustang era and very rare to find in this condition. 1990 was the 25th Anniversary of the Mustang...You will have a hard time finding a nicer one. This is an original Arizona car with no rust!
The car is currently in Colorado. I bought it from my Uncle in the fall of 2015 and brought it to Colorado to finish the build.

This car needs nothing. I typed up a narrative below of everything that's been done. It was all done with the finest of attention to detail.
BBK Performance Rear Upper and Lower Control Arms, Alloy USA 5 lug conversion kit (front and rear), new rotors, wheel bearings, brake pads, shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware kit, drums, brand new rear axles, axle bearings, and axle seals. QA1 Adjustable Aluminum Rear Shocks (with 18 different settings for compression and rebound). Posi-trac 8.8" rear end. (I also have a brand new set of 3.73 Ford SVT gears complete with install kit that I will include with a full price offer)
The headlights are OEM and are not leaking.
Misc items replaced in the finishing stages: Replaced missing screws and covers on the arm rests, ash tray receptacle, replaced left rear power window motor and OEM Drivers and passenger power window control switches, Right Side Convertible top Latch.
I installed a brand new MOPAR Beep-Beep Roadrunner Horn. It really fits with the car..(it is a OEM re-production horn)
Brand new Kenwood KDCX998 AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth compatible and USB Stereo with remote. 2 New Focal Door Speakers (6 speaker system).
Bullitt 17x9 Black Wheels with Mickey Thompson Street Comp 245/45/17's tires front, Mickey Thompson Street Comp 245/40/17's tires rear. These tires fit extremely well with no clearance issues.
Tinted Windows, and an Eclipse Retractable Sun shield for the Windshield.
The convertible top was replaced when my uncle was restoring the car and has only been put down twice. The interior has also been re-upholstered and looks fantastic.
The car is immaculate, handles well and is really fun to drive. I have already done the first oil change. My Uncle had this car for 16-17 years, it has been garage kept and has never been in the snow in Colorado. I spent all of last winter building and finishing the car.
Anyone who has built a car of this magnitude would understand the amount of time and labor that have been invested in it. I have over $17,000 in this build (not counting any labor).
Please Note * There is an inaccurate mileage reported in the vehicle report - On 8/24/2011, the mileage was inaccurately entered as 189,000 at an emissions test. My Uncle owned this car for over 16 years. He was renewing the license plates, but the car was hardly driven as it was a very long term restoration project. I trailered the car to Colorado in September 2015, and finished assembly. When I registered the car on 3/09/2016, it had 118,769 miles on it. This Mustang sat in my Uncle's garage under a cover for over 16 years. If you look at the history report, you can tell it was an obvious error in entering the mileage. My Uncle barely put 25,000 miles on the car in over a 10 year span. The car was not fully assembled when I bought it.
