2006 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 Owned it since 2007! Runs &Looks Great! Priced Low!

2006 Ford Explorer 4x4 in Excellent Condition...
We have owned this explorer since 2007...It has been garage kept, it has never been in an accident and the wife has had it routinely maintained by the Local ford dealer; if it has "needed something" she has been sure to have them do it...(I know bc we've had a couple arguments over what she's spent on it..)haha...but it was hers and that's what she wanted to do it...it has been done by the book PLUS some in my opinion...
We have the original window sticker.. it was over $32,000 ...(I'm selling it for 12% of that)
It does have a brand new transmission professionally installed a little over a year ago..thats the explorer's weak spot..if you're looking at an explorer with over 150k and the transmission has not gone out...just wait its about to...but this one is 100% and good...less than 10k miles on it..
Cosmetically Inside it is very nice...no tears or stains on the interior....its had full coverage floor mats it whole life...On the outside there might be a door ding or scuff but nothing really noticeable that any other 10yr old car wouldn't have..I would say the exterior is ABOVE AVERAGE compared to most vehicles...the paint is still good and it has never had paint work done... This is NOT a vehicle that a dealer has gotten a hold of, an slicked up to flip...Other than driving it thru a carwash and vacuuming it out..nothing was done to it..
Mechanically the truck is perfect...it needs nothing...it runs strong and starts easy, it sits on a concrete floor in the garage there is no leaks under it...everything that has needed to be done has...the transmission is new and ready for another 150k miles..The front end is nice and tight...suspension is good, so are brakes...everything is good and works like it should... The only thing the truck could use is tires...I was on the fence whether to price it low with the tires on it or put new tires on it and price it higher...I figured the person buying it, can buy it knowing it will need tires soon and put the ones on it they want.... There is NO check engine lights or abs or air bag lights on..(the little tire pressure light comes on and goes off sometimes. I went and had it checked out and they confirmed with their scanner that one of the tire sensors was going bad..it is because of a a failing tire sensor inside tire..the part is $28...but there was no point in replacing it until the tires were replaced..very simple fix, that does not affect the car in any way...i just want to do full disclosure
4wd works perfect although we have never been in a situation where we needed it..
We have owned this since 2007; a few years ago we both bought new vehicles but we kept this has a second back up car... If we needed to drive it 1000 miles somewhere today we would feel comfortable doing that....At the moment though its an extra vehicle and we need the money more than we need it....
I personally hate "selling" things and dealing with timewasters and tirekickers, so I've put a really LOW, (but FIRM!) CASH ONLY PRICE on it, to make sure I have a Quick, Hassle Free Sale, in the next few DAYS (instead of next few Weeks). Mine is just as nice as the ones you see priced a lot higher, but the difference is mine will be sold, while the others are still for sale next week.

I know it would probably bring more money doing an Auction, but bc I need the money, I don't want to take a chance of wasting all the time for the auction to run its course, and then the winner turn out to be a person that "can't get the money" or "wife says no" or for some reason, doesn't come thru on their part..So to keep that from happening, I put a low enough "BUY IT NOW" price, that even if you live far away, its still worth your while to come get it after transport cost.
