Description

A classic 1975 Ford Bronco Ranger 4WD classic utitilty. This thing is in original condition! 302 V8 with the 3 speed manual. the engine runs great and the transmission shifts good. Truck is showing just over 44. 00 miles and I bought it from the original owners grandson. He says the miles are original. but I do not have any documentation backing that up. However. judging by the overall condition and the Great condition the seats are in. I believe it to be true. That being said. I want to clearly state that this Bronco needs a restoration. It has the typical rust that many of these have. but it is fairly solid in many areas that a lot of them do rust in. The areas of rust include but are not limited to: the passenger floorboard is completely out. the rockers on both sides need changed. the passenger side quarters have rust bubbles popping through just behind the passenger door (depending on your rust repair theory. I believe the existing quarter can be used by patching. but have talked to at least one body man who said he recommends replacing) The drivers fender pocket in the front has bubbles. but the rest of the fender appears solid. The passenger door channel where it meets the quarter has a rust hole. there is some rust around the seams where the rear fender wells join the body. but it is minimal and might be salvaged. Now. the areas that normally do rust. but appear* solid (*disclaimer this is just my opinion. everyone has a different theory on rust repair. Ask questions to verify what you believe is necessary!). The front inner fenders both seem to be solid with no visible holes or even bubbles that I can see. both front fenders are pretty solid except for drivers front pocket mentioned above. the drivers side quarter seems to be solid all around with maybe a dime size bubble starting at the bottom rear corner. the body mounts look solid-just a little rust scaling on the surface. the top is solid. the tailgate is solid except for a couple of dime size bubble in a couple of places. All in all. this is a very solid builder in my opinion. Then again. I will once more say that this is MY opinion. Please ask for any clarification prior to bidding. I am always glad to provide close ups of any area that you specifically want to inspect. If you are close enough to come inspect in person. then you are more than welcome to set a time to come see it. While the truck does run and drive. the tires on it do have dry rot showing. For that reason. I do NOT recommend buying this with the plan of driving it home. The drivers side leaf springs seem to sag a bit. The truck appears to lean a bit to the drivers side when parked on a flat surface. Again. I did check the mounts and they are all solid. even the rubbers. From a closer inspection. it seems pretty obvious the issue is in the springs. This is a very solid. original piece of automotive history. It is an excellent restoration candidate and if you like the classic look. this one has not been modified and can be returned to pristine original condition relatively easily.
