1951 Ford DeLuxe Business Coupe 1BA Flathead V8 All Original Minor Rust

Here is an opportunity to purchase a 1951 Ford Deluxe Business Coupe 1BA that hasn't been touched in 50 years! This rare find is wearing it original paint. original hubcaps. numbers matching flathead V8 and a license plate from 1965. Only thing missing are the tail light lenses. part of the hood ornament. the keys and one of the hubcaps doesn't match. Everything else is there as originally came on the car. The 51 Business Coupe is the ultimate shoebox. The body is shared with the 49 and 50 but the front bumper and grill are unique to the 51. The Business Coupe did not have a back seat but instead had a padded rear shelf. The business coupe also has a smaller roof than the other 1951 Fords (compare rear side windows to a normal 51 Ford. ) This model makes a mean looking custom with its split windshield and small roof. The body has no dents at all and only body-rot I can find is on the passenger side rocker. The front bumper has a few dents and the rear passenger side chrome trim has a dent. The rear bumper is bent but could be fixed with some talent. It also looks like the rear window was taken out and then replaced with another and sealed up with duct tape. This has caused some leaking and the trunk floor is rusted away on passenger side. I do not have the keys and cannot get the trunk to open. I took pictures of the inside of the trunk but they didn't come out very well. I'll try and get the trunk open and take better pics before auction ends. Trunk floor will need replaced. There is rust in the floors that will need attention but the frame rails are all good. The gauges and dash are complete and undamaged. Its getting harder and harder to find these cars in original condition as these are a favorite for customizing. If you are looking for a clean original slate then this is the car for you.
