1999 Ford F350 Auto 4 x 4 Super Dually, Hydraulic, 10' Dump Bed, Salt Spreader

This truck was rescued from the depths of Minnesota in 2011 and has served our HOA well for four winter seasons. nbsp;plowing and salting 10 miles of roads on a 3000' mountain top community in Tennessee. This vehicle is a tale of two trucks; its drivetrain is basically sound and reliable with only 69. 00 miles. BUT its sheet metal. bed and undercarriage are a rusted mess (Minnesota salt). BUT it has literally plowed 3-5" of snow and dropped a ton of salt on many days in February. so we rely on this truck daily with our 13% grades. It costs us about $1000 per year in nickel and dime repairs to keep this vehicle running (hoses. lines. belts. etc. ). much less if we could complete our own repairs (no mechanic/no garage). So here goes the description: It's a 1999 Ford. F350 Super Duty. Regular Cab. V10. Automatic. 4 x 4. dual wheels ($61. 00 today). It includes 1) a 10' L by 7' 2" W hydraulic dump bed. 24" high sides with in cab controls. amber caution light. two bed work lights. roll up tarpaulin and chain adjustable tailgate ($8900 New Option) and 2) Fixed Hydraulic Tailgate Spreader with full width auger and adjustable position spreader. both with separate in cab controls (Speeds 1-10 with on/off lever). cover (not in use) and clean out cover ($4. 00 New Option). PICTURED PLOW AND SALT DOGG HITCH SPREADER ARE NOT INCLUDED! So what's been done and what's not? The engine runs perfectly and has been serviced with a new battery. battery shut off switch. radiator. exhaust manifold gasket. fuel injection rack. serpentine belt. idler and PTO pulleys; most brake lines have been replaced. The power steering leaks and the engine dipstick tube is broken off. The transmission has been serviced and works well. The 4x4 system works well. but is hard to engage into low at times; front pass hub was replaced. Tires are fair. Dump bed works but bed is 70% rusted out (now plywood). sides 10% rusted out. Fixed salt spreader works. bearing replaced. auger significantly rusted. at least 5 hydraulic lines were replaced. Bed. undercarriage. cab and door panels have significant rust. Auctioned as is.
