It has been cleaned out completely and repurposed for what's basically a camping / rv prep and cargo/passenger transport hybrid. The truck seats 4. and it's the shorter model. The chassis is a Quigley conversion with their newer 4 link setup and superduty truck front axle. motor is V10 gas job and it has 4. 10 gears w/ posi. The interior is fully insulated and custom paneled. It has a power inverter with 110 outlets in the rear all wired. overkill 12v LED lighting. an exhaust fan. and a monster hvac unit that's neatly tucked in the corner. It has a new custom a/v system with flip down 15" DVD player for the kiddos. This is an excellent platform suitable for a daily work truck. cargo/passenger transport. camping. or the bones of a dream off-road RV build. exterior The paint and body on this van are in outstanding condition for the use and age. It came in with painted stripes on either side so the 1/4s have been repainted in base-clear. cut and buffed and look great. The whole van was cut and buffed and has deep gloss and clear. The bumpers were shot in satin and look good. The windshield is new. wheels and tires are in great shape. tread basically looks close to new. One tire has a blemish on the side-wall but it shouldn't affect reliability. There are some patches on the roof from equipment previously mounted. These were put on before we bought the van and they look to be all well sealed. no leaks. There are 2 small nicks shown in the photos and a few very small rock chips. The rear doors have some filler screws where lights were previously mounted. The van has a new roof rack and we've wired up the rear flood light to a switch at the right rear back interior. It is a beautiful van both in and out and photos should document it well. interior The interior has a lot going on. Condition wise there's not much to fault it for. The dog house has a few kick marks and left interior door panel has the pocket missing. we may be able to swap this one out if it breaks your heart. The TV has a slight scratch on the screen but it's mostly superficial. The upholstery is quite good. There's some scratches on the door jambs and a few little tears in the gaskets but it doesn't affect anything. The steering wheel has a scuff at the bottom. For the fun: the van has been fully insulated with spray foam inside the doors. headliner and walls. The paneling in the rear is untreated eco-friendly pine beetle kill. It's well mounted and well trimmed. The paneling is all custom and effectively every surface has been fitted and trimmed in Naugahyde. Lighting is delivered in 2 sections. 3 in the headliner and 2 in the side rear panels. all LED 12v and very bright. There's a 1700w power inverter servicing 3 total outlets including the free one on the unit. We've also wired and fitted a box for an auxiliary deep cycle battery that will charge from the vehicle alternator. The rear seats tilt back pretty good and we've built a little thread-in table that stows between the seats when not in use. The rear seats have just lap belts. The DVD player is in the head unit and it's possible to play audio on the car system while the DVD player outputs the movie audio to the 2 new headphones included in the sale. The head unit is satellite. pandora. iphone. etc friendly and yes. the DVDs can be played while vehicle is in motion. We've wired it that way. The rear TV has an auxiliary input jack for a game consul or the like. that we've wired. The rear a/c heater has been wired to run off the factory dash switch and it puts out at least double the capacity of the normal van rear units. really cools/heats well. The van had the whole floor pulled up. and new carpet padding put down all the way to the pedals. The rear flooring is just plywood that's been rolled with several coats of textured decking refinisher. It scuffs a little but wipes up fine and should be very durable. There's a 12v ceiling vent van in the headliner that will work great when you're cooking in the van and don't want to worry about condensation. If you have any questions. please ask them. mechanical This van runs superb. It has gone through the shop and has basically had all the fluids changed. The rear diff was serviced with new fluid. gasket material. and posi-additive. The front diff and transfer case have been changed within the last 10k miles or so. We did the transmission service and filter. as well as a coolant flush. The oil has been changed. The drive shaft was re-balanced and we checked the brakes. The rears look new and fronts have a ways to go yet. There are no leaks. The 4x4 works perfect and indicator light on dash works. There's an hour-meter under the steering wheel that looks like it's never been hooked up. The van has a tight front end. it shifts well and is pleasant to drive. I've driven roughly 40 Quigley vans and this is a well mannered example that's very quiet on account of all the insulation and trim. I have very much enjoyed driving this van and yes. it turns heads at every stop light. This van has very low mileage and will be fine for many many traveled/untraveled roads to come. comments This is a lot of fun and something I'd love to keep. but we are a business and yes. this was an obscene amount of work to build.
