1956 GMC Short-Bed Truck -V8-Believed to be a one owner vehicle. For sale is a incredible looking 1956 GMC Short Bed Truck! This truck is the single most sought after year. make. and model for antique truck collectors. The truck has recently been restored in the last year or so and looks absolutely stunning. The entire undercarriage is painted and powder coated showing no rust. The wood in the bed is also brand new along with the stainless steel strips between boards. As far as body on this truck it is incredibly straight as well. The body lines look great and show no sign of heavy body work. The paint job would seem to be about two years old and I believe it is a base clear. All of the chrome on the truck looks absolutely fantastic. This is incredibly expensive chrome work and most of these trucks bumpers that I have seen are too far gone to even salvage. The wheels on this truck are a powder coated glossy white just like they would have been back in the day. The wheels are wrapped in brand new Coker tire Firestones which set this truck off. really bringing it back to the fifties! This truck even has its original spare wheel with a matching spare white wall tire. The interior of the truck looks very classy with the red seats. sun visors. door panels. and headliner. From a mechanical standpoint the truck is very solid and runs well. The motor is an original V8 which is also a rarity for these 50's trucks as most have underpowered straight six motors. This truck has over 60 thousand dollars spent just in the last restoration! It is believed to be a one owner vehicle.
