Description

Very rare and hard to find Deluxe trim '49 GMC.It features chrome windshield trim and chrome inner and outer door window trim.
It has a brand new reupholstered brown leather seat. No engine or transmission. Comes with extra front fenders, GMC hood (in excellent condition), and hood latch panel. It looks like the truck was blasted a few years ago as there is barely any paint on it,and a layer of surface rust. It was originally a Chevy, butI converted it to a GMC. Everything matches a GMC all the way down to the crossmember. Ihave built quite a few of these 47-53 models and I was saving this one for myself. Unfortunately we are moving and it can't come with us. I had planned on taking this one down to bare steel and clear coatingit. Itis agreat candidate for that as it is very straight and only has the typical rust through points that patch panels are made for. See pictures for specific rust areas.
I still have all the parts to turn this truck back into aChevy with a great patina'd chrome grille if you like Chevy's better.
The truck is located in Carthage, NC. You are more than welcome to come look at it in person. I can send specific pictures on request. Feel free to ask any and all questions you might have. Include your phone number with your question for a quicker response. This truck comes with a clear NC title with matching VIN plate.
The truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. However, once the reserve has been met, it willno longer be for sale locally and it will finish on ebay.If you have less than 10 transactions or negative feedback please contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be cancelled.
