Description

1991 Honda Civic (WAGON) Here is your chance to own a minty classic Honda. This car has spent its 24 years in Arizona and has been garage and carport kept. This is one of the best wagons that I’ve seen on the road. when I see them that is! This car shows no signs of major damage. all body lines are true. trunk welds are factory and dog house shows same factory lines and welds along with door jams. I have had the honors of owning this car for the past 6 years. when I bought it I ran a manganite down the body panels. no body filler. Factory paint still looks great for the age! See photos. This car spent most of its life in the hands of a retired couple and before me a hot rod enthusiast that used it as a gas saving work car. When I bought the car I was told that the timing belt and head gasket were changed around 120k. I had my garage check it and they said the belt looked new. I had a new R132 AC compressor and AC Metal hose and the system vacuumed down in May 2011. I lowered the car with CRX K-Sport spring and Toyko Blue struts up front and CRX shock and Integra springs at the rear. Also it has Blox lower control arms in the rear. I do have all original equipment that will go with car at time of sale. Now for the brass tax. The paint and body: are a 7 out of 10. I would rate it an 8 if it were not for the usual door dings. not bad though. All could be removed with a dent specialist. Passenger fender has a rough spot that looks like someone filled it. I don’t know just guessing that’s what it looks like to me. It has touch up on it but is noticeable and does pass the manganite test. There is minor rock chips on lower part of hood around Honda emblem. Interior: is an 8 out of 10. There is a small stain or discoloration on top of dash at windshield. Small pin poke in the back of seat. thanks kid! And back door has a small hole on door closer. Other than that seats are in good shape with no holes or burns in the material. I don’t think this car has ever been smoked in. I cleaned the seats few years back there are no major stains but could use a cleaning again to top them off. Engine and Trans: All stock motor that has 145K runs great! No check engine light and temp gage runs at factory specs. Trans is auto that shifts smooth in all gears. Tires: Stock wheels that look new and tires are I like new shape. Exhaust: Stock nice and quiet! There was a small hole in the muffler that has been welded. Suspension: Custom rides better than any of my other low riders I’ve had in my youth. Electrical: Everything works as it should. Comes with detachable Pioneer that has plugin for MP3 or Cell and Rockford’s in factory door cut outs. All you need is an amp and bass tube for that low end sound. Or think bigger this car was built to be a bass tube. Windshield: Just replaced with new rubber. It had factory installed windshield up to month ago. If you know anything about AZ freeways and the rock landscape that’s huge! Safelight guy had never seen a car of this age with factory screen. Battery: Just replaced as well. Period correct Thule bike rack with old style dual bike trays (bikes go upside down) Modern Thule wind jammer. Things that need attention Motor mounts need replaced. Antenna ball is broken off and stuck in the down position. Speed O cable needs replaced (new one comes with car) an hour fix max! The old one squeaks like hell! Only in the cab of car though will drive you crazy if you don’t swap out. Minor door dings could be fixed if you desire. Rear hatch struts need replaced. $50 e-Bay Bumpers have some fading could use a re-spray. A day’s work and a few cans of rattle. paper and tape. This is not a new car nor am I trying to give you the impression that it rates at new. It is a very well kept car I must say and has my love. I’m only selling her due to a move 1500 miles away and can’t pay to ship three cars and a motorcycle so the old girl must goL My loss is your gain if you are one of those O’l skool Honda wagon freaks that know and love these breeds. I tried to be as detailed about the car. Buyer responsible for shipping and shipping expenses or vehicle pickup in person. All funds must be paid with PAYPAL in full before pickup.
