Description

Honda Civic 2002 for sale.

This car is one out of a thousand.

I have a different philosophy about having a car: I am meticulous in maintenance, ery careful in driving and precise in repairing.

From day one, hen I've got it brand new, did everything I could to keep it as close as possible to the way it came from the factory. The fact that I did not install anything on the front bumper points to that. The only alternation that was made to it was replacing tape player by a CD player (the CD player is designed especially for this model of Honda).

All these years I have never touched anything with this car so it points out how careful I was driving it.

(however there are plenty of dents and scratches on the car).

I have many habits that preserve car's transmission, ngine, tarter, rakes and suspension. I used up the first set of brake pads after 11years! and I replaced them because they became close to the service limit-my wife used pads on her car in 3.5 years and I replaced them because the indicator started to "squeal". If you look at the picture of brake shoes (they are original) you would see that there is little wear-that points out how gently the car was driven.

I made a lot of unnecessary repairs a few months ago because all four tires were defective and were making vibrating noise. So after I "eliminated" the source of noise as the wheels (wrongly) I replaced front discs, hen suspension and then left spindle, he noise still was there. After I replaced all four tires the car became to run perfectly quiet again. Tires were replaced at 131250 mi. (05/22/15) and have road hazard warranty on life of thread (which points out that I was intended to keep this car then). After all of this I had the wheel aliment done. Also at Cardinal Honda they replaced a driver's airbag for free while I had them replaced a rear struts.

When a car is older than 5 years and 100K mi. the age & distance becomes unimportant the condition the it becomes issue #1. So I've just for the sale replaced brake fluid (it was due in 10/15) so you do not have to do anything major for the next 3 years, ust follow the maintenance schedule.

A couple weeks ago I replaced radiator and coolant, -ring on power steering pump and P.S. fluid.

This car has never failed me in all these years (this year I took the family to FL with it) and I hope it will not fail on you. I would buy it for someone I love.

It is a 13 y.o. car, ome metal parts are rusty, ubber parts are deteriorating, he clear coat is peeling off on the roof, runk and hood.

However the car is on top of mechanical shape, ood on gas, uns strong, hifts smooth, tops well.

Look at the pictures and ask questions for more information.
