2004 Honda Civic EX 1.7 L Vtec

Bough the car for transportation to college and worked great. Car started to overheat and had head gasket, water pump, and timing belt replaced 6 months ago. Car ran fine up until a couple weeks ago. The check engine light is on and engine cuts out around 4,000 rpm's. Google searched the problem and this is not a unique problem to Honda Civic. I replaced the alternator, EGR valve, and not sure what else to do. As far as I can tell the engine does not leak or burn oil. I changed the oil every 3,000 miles since I bought it. I am the second owner. The car runs fine and to my knowledge no real issues other than the engine cutting out at 4,000 rpm's. The engine does not die. The car does great in town and as long as it's driven like a 4 cylinder and not a V8 muscle car it should be fine. I tried to take good care of the car when I had it, keeping it in the garage when not in use. We bought a new vehicle and we no longer have use for it. I tried to take plenty of pictures, if there are any questions please email me. The car is in good shape, but it is also a 2004 so do not expect a mint vehicle. There are some dings and scratches on the car. I took a close up of the hood and scratch on the back bumper. There is very little rust on the car. You will only find it, if you are really looking for it. I am selling this car as is, with no warranty implied. I cannot deliver or ship the vehicle outside the Peoria, IL area; I do not have time. REVISED- The fog lights are after market and are not hooked up. I installed the lights but did not run the wires to the fuse panel or install the switch, but I still have everything to hook them up.
