Description

Up for bids here is a 2002 Honda Civic Coupe with 138K mi. It has the 1.9 liter 4 Cylinder motor transverse mounted FWD with Automatic Transmission. Car starts and runs, shifts, goes forward and backward and drives, butvehicle does have some damage on front endand I would not recommend driving it further than the nearest tow truck to be placed on a lift, see following section for the things about the cars condition.Car has Clear Texas title and current inspection and registration sticker is still in place on windshield, plates will be removed upon sale of the car and buyer is responsible for all transport of vehicle after sale.

As you can see by the pics, the car has elaborate front end damage, from what I see itincludes bent A/C condenser, cracked radiator, bent / stuck hood, crunched front fenders and missing entire front bumper, drivers side rear window is tanked/taped, scrapes and dents along the side of the body and there are several “loose” things on the car. BUT, of course… just like a Honda, it still starts, runs, drives, shifts and stops really good forbeing from a minorwreck. I welcome limited test drives or views of the car for serious bidders only. The car is currently located in NW Austin, where I can be reached via cell 512-300-7434 to arrange viewing or test drives.

Car is being sold “AS IS” / with buyer responsible for towing/transporting the car in a timely manner 24-48 hrs. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required within 48 hrs of auction close. Your winning bid is a binding agreement to complete the purchase of the vehicle, so be sure to ask all questions before bidding, I have disclosed all the information I know of about the car and will answer questions as well as possible. Looks like my son has left his AM/FM removable face stereo in the car, and also added the huge wing to the back. The interior is pretty much in tact but still has issues.

So, that is the hard part about the car whichis described as honestly as I possibly know. This is all a result of what I have deduced after being presented with the carnage of the wreck by my son. Good things include 3 new wheels/tires, large bat wing rear spoiler, nice interior, good front and rear glass, perfect trunk/rear quarters and bumper. Most lights and lens assemblies are also in tact, as I mentioned car drives but should not be driven any further than onto a waiting tow truck.

So, His loss is our gain, as this car is being sold in a “No Reserve” Auction with a very decent “Buy It Now” price and low opening bid. We paid $6K for this car 2 years ago when it had 98K miles on it and it was primo. Final result and short story is, “Here it is now and what is left could easily be made road worthy again, but I am done dumping money into it”. Car is not available for sale outside the USA, no international or offsite bidders please. Bidders with 0-10 feedback ratings MUST contact me before bidding.
