1969 jaguar e-type 2+2

Early Series 2 model with 2 carbs, open headlights and enhanced dashboard but before the crossover manifold was introduced. A/C.and rare Manual transmission ..Current owner 12 years. I rarely use the car and it is time for someone else to give it some exercise, enjoy it and further improve it. It is always garaged at my home in central Virginia.Engine had a top end rebuild a few years ago and in Spring this year, the entire fuel system was renewed from the tank forward. Exhaust system is about 9 years old but has little wearThe car starts readily and runs great. A/C was working fine last Summer. The compressor still cuts in and out but not blowing cold . Probably only needs recharging.Michelin Red line tires look great and are in excellent conditionBody is almost rust free. Chrome is in great shape. Paintwork is old but still shines nicely (I think it's original).Interior black leather is very good except for a split in the rear seat backrest.Driver door has dropped a little and needs adjustment. Passenger door lock sticks and needs attention.Pretty much everything else works except the clock. Car comes with some documented history and a whole library of Jaguar history, repair and maintenance books.I will be happy to supply additional photos and/or answer questions upon request.No warranty expressed or implied.
