I AM RELISTING THIS ITEM -IT HAS BEEN LISTED TWICE AND BOTH TIMES THE HIGH BIDDERS WERE DEADBEATS! IF YOU HAVE NEGATIVE OR ZERO FEEDBACK, O NOT BID ON THIS VEHICLE, ERIOD! DO NOT EMAIL ME TO TELL ME THAT DEALERS ARE BIDDING ON IT, DON'T CARE, HE HIGH BIDDER OWNS IT, HOEVER HE OR SHE IS. PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY, HIS IS A 17-YEAR-OLD CAR WITH 260,000 MILESON IT, OLD AS-IS/WHERE-IS, HAVE NO IDEA IF THE CAR WILL MAKE IT TO DALLAS, ISSISSIPPI OR ANYWHERE ELSE, AM NOT A PSYCHIC, O PLEASE DON'T ASK ME THAT. IT STARTS, UNS AND DRIVES, WAS DRIVING IT DAILY UNTIL A FEW MONTHS AGO, INCE THEN IT HAS BEEN SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY (I KEEP THE BATTERY CHARGED). LAST TIME I DROVE IT, FEW WEEKS AGO, T RAN ROUGH FOR THE FIRST FEW MINUTES THEN SMOOTHED OUT, UT I MAKE NO GUARANTEES.

The time has come for me to part with my beloved 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, hich I have owned and taken pretty good care of for the last 14 years. Here's the 4-1-1: I bought this car in 2001, he was an ex-rental fleet car with only 30,000 miles on her, o 230,000 of the 260k on the odometer are mine. The engine of this car (4 litre six-cylinder) has never had a single problem, ever used or leaked a drop of oil in all that time. Transmission was rebuilt about 40k ago; brakes were done less than 1k ago; radiator was replaced back in '07, lternator in '08; other than some bushings, hocks and various other suspension parts, haven't had to put much money into her.
BUT, his is a car with 260,000 miles on her, o here's all the other stuff you need to know -
(1) You'll notice the red passenger front door in the pics, y daughter pulled out in front of someone a couple of years ago, runched the old door, his is what I came up with to replace it (it's from a '97, think, ou'll notice the plastic panel doesn't match, ut it works, o key for that door, hough).
(2) A/C doesn't work, ut the last time I had it checked the compressor tested fine, here is a leak somewhere, t actually did cool the car for a while until the Freon leaked out.
(3) Rear lift gate sometimes latches, ometimes doesn't, nd the rear window hasn't opened in years.
(4) Interior lights (dome lights, ap lights, tc.) work, ut there was a problem with them staying on when the doors were closed, switch problem I never could find, o I pulled the fuse, clever guy with electrical stuff could probably sort it out in an hour.
(5) It had an exhaust leak a few months ago, o I did a metal epoxy fix on that, hich seems to have worked.
(6) Radio works, ut I think there is a bad connection in the antenna, s stations fade out before you'd think they would.
(7) It's a 17 year old car with 260k on it, he rattles a bit and I would not describe it as a "quiet" car, hich it never was even when it was like new.
(8) The leather on the steering wheel is worn badly in a couple of spots.
(9) The key fob battery has never been replaced, nd, et, t still works, ostly. Won't open the door from across a crowded parking lot, ut works.
(10) The inside handle for the hood latch broke years ago, ave to use pliers, hich come included!
(11) I haven't driven her in months, nd when I did start her up today and ran up the street to get gas, he seemed to idle a bit roughly at first, ut smoothed out after a few miles. I have never put a single ignition module or any other kind of electronic parts in this car, o if one of them is on its way out, t wouldn't surprise me.
The good things I can say about her are: tires a pretty good; driven the way I drive, 've always managed to get around 20 mpg in town, hich is good, think; new wiper blades on front; receiver hitch with all three popular size balls; new battery within the last year (hardly driven it since I bought it); regular oil changes and maintenance, o air filters, tc. are good; 4-wheel drive mechanism works as well as it ever did.

While this vehicle is perfectly suited to driving around town, iven her age, see her ending life as a farm or ranch vehicle - I once pulled a stuck tractor-trailer rig out of the mud with this car, nd she's hauled more boats than you can shake a stick at, ncluding half-way across the country (hence the new transmission).

NOTE-

Just spent some time in the car and here a few other things to note: gas shock for lift gate is pretty much shot; driver's seat has wear and tear you would expect for a car this age; a couple of bad spots on the vinyl on the front door panels; headliner is beginning to come loose on passenger side front.
