There were a few changes to the '99 Corvette, some minor, some significant. On the significant side, in addition to the Coupe and Convertible, Corvette introduced a third separate model for the first time. This model was called the Fixed Roof Coupe or FRC. This was a hardtop, which was lighter and more ridged than the Targa-Roof Coupe. This model was closer to the Convertible with a hardtop permanently grafted in and like the Convertible, featured a trunk instead of a hatchback. Other changes to the line-up included the 2nd generation airbags, which included a cut-off switch for the passenger side, revised steering hardware and new sill plates. New options included Head Up Display, power telescoping steering wheel and Twilight Sentinel.

This very sharp '99 came to us from a local So. Cal. owner before him, took meticulous car of it! The oil was always changed at the precise intervals and whatever the car needed was attended to Ponto! With only 39k miles, it's hardly broken it and it shows. With beautiful paint and seats that hardly look like they've been sat in!
