Car Enthusiasts,
Selling my cared for and unique red 2006 Saab 9-2X Aero Manual Transmission with 17'' Sport Tires, Cold Climate Package and Leather Interior packages. This is a Saab wagon but in 2004-2006 they used a Subaru powertrain and body design to produce their own Impreza WRX wagon. This would comparable between a Subaru WRX STI as it came with upgraded control arms, handling and ECU programming above the regular WRX wagon.
The 9-2X Aero is the sport version of the regular 9-2X. It is front-engine, 4-wheel-drive, 5-passenger, 5-door wagon with a turbocharged and intercooled Subaru flat-4, aluminum block and heads. Both transmissions have been recently cleaned out and oiled up. From the factory this car makes the following displacement: Horsepower 230 @ 5,600 rpm Torque 235 @ 3,600 rpm. It has the 17'' Aero sport tires with Saab emblems. It drives and handles great.
The exterior and interior are in good shape with no known accidents to the vehicle in it's past. With a leather interior, there are added rugged all-weather floor mats for easy cleaning. There are driver and passenger heated seats and lots of cup holders. The space in the back is huge and the front is very spacious. It also has a tinted power sun roof. Power everything and a just refreshed/maintained air conditioner system. Remote security alarm from the factory with 4 keys.
I have added a Cobb cold air intake and gold plated shielding to the engine intake to increase performance. It has an aftermarket high performance Mushimoto radiator installed with genuine Subaru coolant and treatment. It also has an Optima Redtop battery to ensure starts in cold/snow temperatures. The front and rear control arms have recently been replaced to tighten up the ride and steering. Brakes/Tire systems were checked by Southern Oregon Subaru and given a thumbs up last month. I only use premium synthetic Subaru motor oil while I've had the car. There is also an installed back up camera with dual-din Bluetooth/DVD/iPod/iPhone audio unit. The car is tinted on all windows and has 3M paint protection film on the front.
