Description

We are the third owner of this 1999 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 2WD 5.7L truck. First owner was a rental agency. Second owner used it for family vacations and towing camper. We bought truck in 2008 when it had 103,000 miles on it. At 130,000, we rebuilt the transmission. It currently has 211,275 miles. It has never been in an accident. We have personally spent over $4500 or more on fixing it and on replacing parts as they broke (AC, fuel pump, radiator and thermostat, battery and alternator, back axle rebuilt recently, new tires and shocks currently on it (Cooper AT and Rancho shocks), brake booster, and more). We are just not willing to rebuild the engine due to its current issue (blown head gasket). We know there may be someone out there that can fix this on their own, so we are willing to auction it off to highest bidder rather than junk it.
There are faint scratches along sides of it (more so on right side) from brush (driving on dirt roads), an area on right rear, wheel well where the paint is popped off, some door dings and clear coat peeling off in areas on the hood and little patches on the roof. Interior is is pretty good condition for its age. No rips, tears, bad stains. All seat belts work. Has working radio, cassette and CD player stereo. AC works well! Cruise control and all power items (windows and door locks) work except back left window. There is a third row seat (not pictured in photos, but I have it and will put it in the vehicle upon selling); it was put up in my garage due to using truck for dog crates instead. It can seat eight. Spare tire and jack inside back side. Driver and passenger visors are in and work, but lighting to visor has been disconnected due to flap of mirror breaking off them.
There are three sets of keys for this vehicle and two key fobs (that work)! Registration has been paid up-to-date, but could not get smog done as head gasket blew. Once that is fixed, new owner would just need to smog to complete registration. Pink slip in-hand. Buyer will need to pick up from Palmdale, CA and tow vehicle to new destination.
