1981 Shay Roadster Pickup - Reproduction

This auction is for a rarely availableand scarce reproduction of a 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup Truck. A limited number of trucks were produced by Shay as compared to the Roadster with Rumble Seat.

Even more rare, is the AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

All 5 tires are brand new and have only about 50 miles on them. This includes the spareside mount. They were just purchased from COKER TIRE. All new inner tubes were installed when tires were mounted.

All new carpeting installed.

New GRANT wood-grain steering wheel

New FRONT shock absorbers. The rear shocks are air ride type

All electrics work. all lights, signals, backup light

FLORIDA titled and in hand. Vehicle located in VENICE, FLORIDA

As Shay's are limited production cars, the VIN section cannot be filled in.

The bed wood and wood side strakes refinished

Cutesy "Chirping Bird" back-up alarm installed.

Truck comes with new scissor jack, and handle. A compartment is behind the seat and is easily accessible.

Now, the so-called BAD....The front end feels like it could use an alignment and wheel balance and the inside seat bottomneeds a vinyl repair due a 4 inch tear (presently covered with special black tape)...That's it.
