A chance to enjoy a well maintained first generation Miata that has not been beat up or mucked around with. This is an original, stock car (except stainless exhaust, heated leather seats); I’ve kept it covered in my heated garage.

Paint is original. It buffs up to a pleasing shine. It easily passes the ten foot test. Close inspection shows what you’d expect of a garage kept, well maintained 22 year old car. Actually, close inspection shows a car a lot better than what you’d expect. There are two tiny dimples in the hood, too small to appear in photos. There is ZERO RUST anywhere that I or my mechanic can find

The interior is clean and presentable. No cracks in vinyl, tears anywhere, or fading indicating a car that never baked in the sun and was covered and garaged. The carpet is original and shows appropriate wear for its age and low miles. The windows are hand crank. I personally like this “vintage” feature. Includes extra Miata floor matts in trunk. You will see the interior could use a thorough detailing.

The radio is original and works as it did new. The stock speakers mounted in the seat head rests work. The footwell speakers as well.

It is fitted with cruise control only I have never used this feature.

The oil pressure gauge is not a dummy. It displays actual oil pressure and the readings are right where they belong.

All interior, cabin, instruments, gauges, heater, dash lights work. The Pop Up headlights function correctly

Air Conditioning works great (it blows super cold),

Gearbox is Mazda precise 5 speed with short throws

The second owner is a friend. I know for a fact he never drove it in the rain. Neither did I, ever. Neither did I drive it in the spring until at least one heavy rain had flushed the salt off the road.

I purchased the Miata from my friend in June 2015 to be my “fun” car. I’d grown weary of maintaining an aging 911. The Mazda is pure fun and low maintenance. I’m selling because I’ve joined a river conservation organization in Easton Maryland and running a boat is occupying my time

There are plenty of high mileage Miata’s for sale for less than this one. This Miata has ridiculously low miles. EVERYTHING works as it should. It needs nothing. Add to the mix the brand new top, brand new tires, heated leather seats (a $3,500.00 bonus), my asking price is I believe reasonable.

I have described the Miata as I know it to be. It is still 22 years old. So the Miata is being offered in AS IS condition with no warranty expressed or implied.

Balance is due within 24 hours unless agreed to in writing otherwise.

Balance is to be paid by wire transfer only unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
