Description

This is a very cool hotrod that you could easily drive to the Mopar show at Carlisle next month. The '40 has a camaro front subframe along with rear suspension. It drives very very well and ALWAYS gets attention wherever it goes. It has power brakes and steering. It is very light on the front end and is a pleasure to drive. the front suspension sports a 2 inch dropped spindle and Chip Foose wheels on all four corners along with Kumho tires.. I just installed a new aluminum radiator it has the under dash components for AC however the compressor is not present. There is a new set of rubber brake lines installed up front, and a new alternator. Wheels and tires have very little miles on them. Summer is here and this would be a great ride. I drive this car almost daily.

I have had some questions on the tire rubbing, The tires do not rub. There is room for a larger tire in the rear, the front tire is maxed out as to size. Steep driveways you have to take at an angle. The engine oil pan is above the Camaro cross member and protected. The floor (as is the car) is solid. If I keep it, I would block the panels before repainting. The paint on the keep is a good driver quality. That's the main reason the price is not $35k.
The framework and front-end was done professionally at a shop in South Carolina. I bought the '40 as a near completed project when I bought my '67 GTX. I could not see the car continue to sit next to a garage not being finished. The '40 has nearly 78k miles on it, and recently freshened up the frontend with new parts along with new wheels and tires. I will do paint if the car does not sell. The '40 has a new custom aluminum radiator (and the wheels and tires have less than 500 miles on them)
