Description

1979 Pontiac Trans AmYou are looking at a beautiful Pontiac Trans Am original Nocturne Blue car with only 38,700 original miles. The car is 100% original sheet metal no rust or repair, only one repaint with new decals (2016) paint is gorgeous, and the original Hobnail cloth Tan interior is excellent condition with only minor wear on front seat bottoms ( no rips or tears) the dash is perfect and every gauge works. The car has T-Tops and they are in excellent condition, also power locks, and rear defog. The car is numbers matching with its original 403 Oldsmobile engine and automatic transmission, and the car runs and drives perfectly, and stops on a dime.
The motor runs smooth as silk, transmission shifts perfectly, the suspension is tight and straight with no rattles. The car drives like a new car. The engine has never been out of the car and is very clean and original.
I have replaced the brake booster as the seal went bad along with the master cylinder, also replaced the spark plug wires and plugs with AC Delco stuff.
This car has been meticulously maintained over the years and I have a stack of maintenance records that document all services and verify the low mileage.
The car is completely stock with no modifications to engine or transmission. The car still has the original inflatable spare tire and factory jack, along with the original T-Top storage bags (look like they were never used). I believe the exhaust system is original with only the muffler having been replaced. The catalytic converter was removed along time, but I have it and it looks like new and will go with the car.
The original wheels were oxidized so I replaced them with brand Year One factory replacement wheels along with new center caps and lug nuts, and brand new tires (less than 500 miles).
This is truly a beautiful example of a well stored, well kept, low mileage, rare color combo car. I welcome anyone to view the car or if you want to have the car inspected.
I have the original build sheet and owners manual as well as years of receipts.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or send me a phone number if you want to talk about the car. I can't say enough how a nice of car this is looks awesome and drives like new.
Obviously this is a 38 year old car and therefore it is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. Shipping or pick up of the car will be at the buyers (winning bidder) expense.
I will require a $1000.00 deposit within 24 hrs of auction ending and payment in full within 10 days of auction ending. I will be very accommodating for viewing and shipping or picking up of the car. Deposit to be in form of PayPal, and payment to be made in form of bank wire transfer( safest way for both party's involved) or certified bank check, but car will not be released until check fully clears bank 14-21 days. I have a clear Ohio state title in my name.
