This car displays what appears to be the entirely original Wedgewood Blue paint throughout. The body is straight and in excellent condition while the paint is showing its age on close inspection with frazzles and some fading. The vinyl landau top is in excellent condition. This is a dry climate Lincoln and it shows. The interior is exceptional. displays factory velour cloth upholstery front to back along with several additional options. The wheels are the factory cast aluminum turbines fitted with latter Michelin whitewall radial tires all around. The paint is in very good condition for its age. showing rock chipping along the front and some fading and crazing throughout on close inspection. The landau vinyl top is in exceptional condition. The wheels are the original cast aluminum turbine wheels. fited with Michelin whitwall radial tires all around. The 1979 would year would be the last of this design. The fenders showcase these cooling gills which were also functional to aid in engine bay heat. Open the doors to 1979. The interior showcases factory velour cloth throughout. in excellent condition. The dash and instruments are also original. The dash pad is clean and detailed throughout. The speedometer is functional however the Cartier clock is not. The original stereo is the top-optioned AM/FM Quad 8. There is also a CB radio and cassette converter installed in this Lincoln. This car has all of the bells and whistles one could ever ask for. in 1979 that is. The door panels are original and in good condition. Under the hood is the factory 400M 2bbl. V8. This powerplant runs out smooth. paired with the C6 3-speed automatic transmission. This engine features much of the original paint throughout the block and valve covers and retains factory components and markings. The firewall. inner fenders and core support metal is also original and in great shape. There are factory markings intact throughout this car if you look closely. The undercarriage is further indicative of a dry climate automobile. The flooring and framework is original and intact throughout. There is surface rust to be expected of age. however this is obviously a well-kept example. The fuel tank also looks to be in excellent condition. The inner quarter panels are intact left and right. We have a complete set of service manuals. The spare tire/wheel and jacking equipment is also in place.
