Plug in Hybrid and 1. 6 Turbo are the engines of choice. The 1. 6 Turbocharged engine is the simplest of the three. without any hybrid elements. Despite this it still manages to return 26 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. The Hybrid on the other hand will sip gasoline to the tune of 47 mpg in the city and 44 mpg on the highway.
