1990 Isuzu Impulse, handling by Lotus

Designed by the revolutionary Italian legendGiorgetto Giugiaro, he one behind greats like the Lotus Esprit, errari 250 GT and many others,His concept, alled the "Ace of Clubs", as angular and sleek at the same time, ery sporty, nd thoroughly modern.The original Impulse was designed in Italy, uilt in Japan, acked by an American auto giant, nd fettled with by the Brits – an absolute world product.The Impulse looked like a rocket ship.
This second-generation, 990 Impulse XS, acks the luster of its angular forefather, ut with the memorable ‘Handling by Lotus’ package, t’s still quite a rarebird.The Impulse gotthe legendary rare Lotus Elan M1001.6L L4 DOHC 16VengineandLotus-tuned suspension packagewith softer springs, tiffer shocks and revised sway bars.
This car has had 1 owner for the last 12 years and it's in driving conditionwith as little as new tires, attery and oil change. Some things need to be changed or tuned, fter it's been parked for the last 2-3 years:- it needs new tires (they have thread left but are old)- needs oil and filter change- needs new battery, lthough the current one may still hold some charge- needs a brake check (MAYBE new pads and bleeding?)- it hassome rust spots (seen in pictures)- AC needs to be checked and eventually charged- Driver-side inside door handle and lock are broken and need to be fixed- dashboard is cracked, y sun heat.- carpet, assenger seat and ceiling cloth have some stains- paint has some blemishes and the clear coat is peeling off in some places.- radio antenna is broken
The engine was replaced with a rebuilt one and has less than 5,000 miles on it.Clean title, ever been inaccident.
The car belonged to my brother, ho had a stroke 3 years ago, nd always hoped he's going to recover to drive it again. Now, t's pretty clear he's not going to be able to and, ith a medical debt of over $80,000, all the proceeds from this sale will go towards medical bills.
