1970 Monte Carlo with an amazing 29095 original miles. This car is 47 years old. It has had three yes three owners all right here in OKC and has been garaged its whole life. The car was purchased at Scott Chevrole here in OKC. The original owners were an older couple who very seldom drove the car. This is only the second time in 47 years that the car has been offered for sale to the public.
The only work ever done to the engine was to pull the valve coves off and replace the cork gaskets, hey were leaking and I pulled the spark plugs to clean them up and inspect them to see if they were the original plugs. From what I could tell the plugs are original! I ampretty sure this is the 755th Monte ever built as the last six digits of the vin art 100755. The 350 four barrel engine in the car is all original and the numbers match (see pic).
The interior is all original and the drivers seat only has 2 issues. One small tear in the base on the drivers side (see pic) and one spot up high on the drivers left shoulder support. There are only five areas of rust that will need attention. Two are in the drives side lower front fender and door, o holes just surface, see pic) One is on the drives side wheel opening front side of wheel well and the last 2 are down low in the rear quarters and you cant see the rust from the outside because of the chrome strips but it is there. The car runs and drives good. It needs new shocks. If you were going to drive it across country I would recommend putting new tires on and changing the water pump. The tires appear good and the water pump is not leaking but without knowing when the last time or if it ever had a water pump i would not trust it. When is the last time you have seen any 1970 model car with ony 29095 miles, nbsp;yes its prolly been a while. If you love original cars that have not been messed with then this is your next car. This car is ready for the next owner to take it and run with it and love it just as much as we do! Alvin is the owner. If you live close by and want to come see the car just give Alvin a call and he will show it to you. His number is 405-774-1740. If you want to talk to me just call, nbsp;Danny 405-620-2850, have driven the car and am a mechanic and can answer most any question about it. The car does have AC, nbsp; The compressor spins freely but its very low on freon and will need charged. If you want the AC charged I will do it as long as you supply the freon. Clean Clear Oklahoma title in hand. Lucky buyer to be responsible for shipping. The car is garaged and will stay there till you come get her or have her shipped. Thanks for looking and BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!!!

Attention buyer: Today Sunday 6-6-2016 I went to look at the Monte for a potential buyer. Upon closer inspection I noticed some very small hail dings in the hood and truck lid. So small I did not even see them the first time I took pics of the car but I was asked to hold a light a certain way and look close. Second, noticed up in the middle of the rear fenderwells there is a small amount of rough paint. So I assume its rough because of a small rust spot starting. The area is no more then two to three inches long and about an eight of an inch tall. The vinyl top has shrunk and pulled away from the chrome by the back window. There are some bubbles under the vynal top as well so it prolly has some rust starting there. Still not bad for 46 years old just think this thing will be FIFTY in just four years andafter its fifty the value will jump!! so get while the getting is good. Count yoursel LUCKY as of today you are one of the 1350 people who have seen this ad, Just think how much the car would go for if you fixed the minor imperfections and it rolled across the block at Barrett Jackson or one of the other big auction houses. This car begs for minor repair and some time and publicity then BANG your ship comes in!!! I also checked the ac system when I was there and it still has freon! Like I said, nbsp;New owner gets the ac charged for free if you supply the freon. Now that we have that out of the way bid on~~~~~~~!!!!! IF you miss this you will be sorry. Thanks for looking and have a good week!
