Description

MUST READ!
If you are in the market for a Maserati Quattroporte you must read this first!
OK, first of all congrats on choosing a Quattroporte! It’s basically a 4 door Ferrari once $100k, now down to less than the cost of a Toyota Prius!
It's a beautiful car, it’s a fun car to drive, it’s reliable and it’s affordable and will turn heads EVERYWHERE you go!
Most of all its FAST and sounds amazing, not to mention gets GREAT gas mileage.
Color combo is gorgeous, Black with Cream leather interior!
But before you shop for the "best deal", let me educate you on the model so you know what to look for...
ALL, ALL, ALL Quattroporte’s after 50k miles will be half way through their life and need a few things for their next 5 to 10 years of life.
Don’t trust that people have done repairs unless they can show you a receipt and at what miles they did it at!!! Just saying it has a new clutch, may not mean it does...
1. You will need a CLUTCH! This car was designed with the Ferrari F430 F1 paddle shift manual transmission. It is fun to drive and was built to be driven in "manual", however many people drive in "auto mode" which will wear a clutch faster. A new clutch job will cost you $8,000 and last you about 5+ years or more. Mine has a brand new clutch and throw out bearing and I have receipts!!!
2. The F1 clutch relay will cause issues as it heats. A new relay does not solve this. I have the upgraded relay already installed with NO shift errors!! This is a $500 job.
3. You will need an Alternator and new battery! This car has over 17 computers. It puts a lot of strain on the alternator and battery. The alternator job is $2,000 and a battery is $300. Mine has a brand new Alternator, new belts, new gaskets and a brand new battery in warranty!!! I also keep it on a trickle charger to maintain it.
4. You will have ABS issues. A mechanic will think it is a wheel bearing or speed sensor and charge you for new ones. This is NOT the issue. The Quattroporte has a bad ABS module, it needs to be sent out and upgraded, not replaced. This will cost you over $4,000. Mine has a new upgraded ABS module and speed sensors and wheel bearings!!!
5. ALL late model Quattroporte’s will need the ENGINE mounts replaced. They are often overlooked. When not replaced they sag and the engine rides on the frame causing major vibration. This is a $2,000 job and I have brand new engine mounts!
6. ALL Quattroporte’s with the small gear selector in the center console which looks like a tiny shift knob to choose forward or reverse will BREAK! Maserati made them from plastic. This will cost you $1,000 to replace. Mine has already been replaced with the Ricambi upgraded ALL metal model! Will NOT break ever again!
7. ALL Quattroporte have a PCV valve designed to take excess oil and release it back through the air intake to burn off. MANY if not all Quattroporte owners will complain of white smoke upon cold start up, or white smoke from hard driving. This is embarrassing at a valet and the dealer will tell you "it’s normal". Well there is a fix. Mine has been installed with a custom "oil catch", this brushed steel reservoir has been installed between the PCV valve and air intake to catch the oil before it gets sucked back into the air intake. NO MORE WHITE SMOKE. Better yet, this increases performance as air and fuel burn better then air, fuel and oil! Keeps your engine running cleaner and you can read online about the many more benefits it offers.
8. When I installed the custom "oil catch" it was a good time to replace the air filter, mass airflow sensor, spark plugs, clean air intake and replace engine oil. This is a $1,500 service and ready for you to enjoy!
9. ALL Quattroporte's have the lamination of the rear windshield come apart causing an ugly white outline around the entire rear window instead of the beautiful black trim. I have replaced with brand new glass, $2,000.
10. Variators. Many models needed their variators rebuilt. This is a $5,000 job that the prior owner did. Upon start up you will hear NO sounds of metal clinking or chattering which is a sign it would need it.
11. HEAT and AC! This is a big one. Many dash mod door actuators will go out causing hot out one side, cold out another, mild cool AC or worse all heat. I have had all AC sealed, heater resistor replaced, mod door actuators replaced. ALL heat and AC works perfect, blows ice cold and out the correct doors. This was a $5,000 repair!
12. Among all this. I have new trunk shocks, new tires, new brakes, new belts, new gaskets, new window regulators, new door handle actuators, new thermostats, etc. This car NEEDS NOTHING!
13. Paint, body and leather... When buying any used car. It can be sad to have to live with swirl marks, scratches, dents, chips, door dings and worn dirty leather. Makes buying a new car feel like not such a new car for you... Well many used cars are just washed before you buy. Mine has been BEYOND well taken care of. Let me explain. 1st, I am a fanatic about black cars. I have 5 black cars. I have color sanded and buffed this car twice. Once right when I bought it to give it that perfect shine and, once again about a year ago. There is NOT a single door ding nor dent. There are NO swirl marks. NO scratches. This paint looks like a glass mirror and I just had a $500 detail done to sell the car in amazing condition. Now let’s talk about the leather. Most light colored leather on a used car is pretty worn out and dirty. When I bought this car I had ALL leather re-dyed and conditioned to look BRAND NEW. I then had my detailer care for it with PH balanced products and after the $500 detail I just had done, they shampooed the leather, carpets and treated it all. You will get in and think that no one has ever been inside this car. As it still looks like new! I even had my detailer wrap the driver’s floor mat in plastic for you! In fact, the entire car is covered with a car cover and in my garage and after spending $500 on a detail, I won’t be driving it so it will be perfectly clean for the buyer.
14. Amenities. Of course all luxury cars come with all the bells and whistles. Mine has a few options you will not see many others have. First it does have the front navigation, CD changer, stereo. but I also added Bluetooth for hands free speaker phone and music from your phone to the stereo. In the rear, is the FACTORY DVD TV media system that will play a MOVIE on both the FRONT nav and REAR TV's with amazing sound through the system. You can also plug in a headset and control it all with a factory Alpine remote control which is included. Also this is the model with ALL FOUR front and rear seats that heat, cool, recline and MASSAGE. Rear and side window sun-shades and lastly, the center console offers HOT or COLD options for your drinks!
On top of all that I have black and chrome Asanti 20" rims with brand new tires (TPS monitors installed, need programming) and factory Maserati aluminum racing pedals that make this car look amazing. I am also including the original manual, stereo guide with unlock code, two factory keys and the ENTIRE 10 disc DVD set for the navigation system!
Now after all that please don't think this car is too expensive to maintain. I have done it all for you!
These are the NORMAL things that go out for this model, and these are all the things that have ALREADY been replaced. You’re all set and ready to enjoy your Maserati!!!
Last tip. DONT BUY FROM A STEALERSHIP. They have NO past knowledge of the car they are selling you. You will NEVER know who owned it and how well they took care of it. You will be buying a mystery that can be an expensive mistake.
Can you go out and find a $25,000 Quattroporte for a better deal, yes.
But do you really then want to spend over $20,000 getting it to the condition of mine? Or would you rather spend slightly more and buy mine which gives you piece of mind and an amazing Italian dream car for the money...
Now if a cash buy is not in your budget, even though I am not a dealer, I do have many finance companies I can refer you to, just like any dealer would to get you financed. I even know of one with 2% interest and $0 down. Lastly, I will not take fake checks, checks from other countries with promise to have shipper pick up, I will not take PayPal or a credit card. I know all the scams and won’t fall for them. All sales are final and this car comes with no factory warranty. I have many references. I am a business owner in California for 20 years and am a public figure. You will have a pleasant and safe transaction when dealing with me... Thank you.
