2006 Mazda RX-8 Shinka Edition

Up for sale is this good looking 2006 Mazda RX-8 Shinka edition. This version of the RX-8 comes with upgraded Bilstein suspension with tan leather and suede seats. In addition. I have installed Tein lowering springs. forgestar 18x10 e. t. 38+ wheels all around that make this car really a head turner everywhere it goes. It also has a mazdaspeed cold air intake with AEM high flow air filter. upgraded Black halo racing ignition coils and wires. and a magnaflow catback exhaust system that make this rotary scream when you push the rpms above 4. 00. This is over $2000 worth of parts when bought new excluding the wheels. As of 04/15 the car has a brand new Optima Red Top battery too. There is damage on the front bumper and probably needs to be replaced for a better looking one anyway. There is also some dents on the passenger side that can be easily fixed. The stereo works but the cd player is stuckand but play anything and the satellite radio stopped working a few months ago despite having a current subscription--It appears the head unit is damaged hence these both functions not working. Passenger side air bag cover cracked due to sun exposure but the air bag itself has never been deployed. the interior looks great other than that. Leather seats have always been regularly cleaned and conditioned and only show regular wear and tear. back seats still look new. Car runs great. it has always had regular oil changes every 3k miles. AC was serviced this year. and also installed new OEM spark plugs like 3 months ago. However. the car does have this thing that when the engine is fully warmed up it is harder to start. It will start. but it takes a longer crank to do it. sometimes it requires a second or third crank. I have no idea about what could be the cause since it has no fault codes on the dashboard. It might need new coils or wires or perhaps a fuel injection system clean up. Once the car is running the engine runs great all the way to the 9000rpm redline. it has never let me stranded anywhere. It’s just the hard start that is the issue. Car does have a blue rebuilt title but there was never any big damage when I got it. just the one already described. All body parts are still the originals from factory. I have a CarMax that I can provide for you to look at. I highly encourage people genuinely interested in the car to come look at it in person. an appointment can be arranged. I would restore this car back to pristine condition but I really don’t have the time or funds as of right to do it. I figure there might be an enthusiast out there with the know how to put this car together to excellent condition and give it a home for years to come.
