Story behind the new engine: Mazda dealership messed up a routine service causing the engine to misfire. The misfiring caused a rod to snap and blow a hole in the block. Mazda replaced the engine. Clutch was replaced at the same time b/c the engine was out of the car already. This is a BRAND NEW ENGINE. it is not rebuilt. Car has been kept in great shape. with regular wash and waxing. Interior of the car is also in great shape regularly cleaned and vacuumed. Brand new floor mats to go with the car. Cars runs and handles great. Stiff suspension and tight steering make it fun to drive. FWD and weight of car allow for good handling in adverse weather. 4 add'l rims. one has cosmetic damage. one is bent from hitting a pothole. two are in good shape.
