2005 Mercedes Benz AMG E55 Wagon

2005 and 2006 E55 wagons are among the rarest AMG models with only 193 imported in two years by special order only. Hand built supercharged V8 with 469hp and 516tq, -60 in 4.2 seconds, uarter mile in 12.5 seconds with seating for seven. This car runs and drives excellent, ithin the past year I spent over $15k in maintenance/repairs which include spark plugs, ires, kebono brake pads, immerman brake rotors, rake sensors, rake fluid flush, il service, arbon cabin filter, upercharger oil change/service, ront end rebuild with struts, ontrol arms, nd steering knuckle, ransmission conductor plate with solenoid connector, rans filter, luid/service, ew front Michelins with alignment/index, eplace valve cover gaskets which showed a very clean engine with no build up(pictures available), adiator replacement, oolant hoses, elts, ulley, oolant flush/change, gnition switch, tarter, rankshaft position sensor, ront and rear battery, ew intercooler, uel tank/sending unit/pump were replaced under warranty. The E55 front bumper cover/grill has been replaced as the original was split/cracked at the bottom from a parking lot curb from the previous owner. The E63 model is more attractive, o it gave me a good excuse to replace it. E63 wheels have been refinished to new condition, aint is original except for the replaced front bumper cover, nterior is in great shape with no leather damage, ar has 140k miles but looks and drives like 40k. Has the optional 3rd row seat for a total of 7 seats. The secondary cats and resonator have been professionally replaced with an X pipe for a little more sound, ut car is still very quiet. Car still retains the stock primary catalytic converters and stock mufflers. Car starts, uns, nd drives as it should, racks down the road straight and without noise or vibration, teering is tight and precise, rakes are excellent as they are nearly new stopping evenly and straight, ires are Michellins and over 80%, aint is excellent and well maintained, ery few minor paint flaws/scratches, ar has been garage kept and is very nice. A/C blows cold, indows and switches work, tock Harman Kardon stereo sounds great. As with any used vehicle this car is not perfect. There is a automatic door unlock system that when you touch the door handles the doors are supposed to unlock. This system does not work, nd I didn't bother getting it fixed. Also, his car has the optional keyless start button on the shifter, ut works occassionally. Again, idn't bother getting it fixed. The third row seat is difficult to put up or down being tight from lack of use. There is also what looks like a bleach stain on the carpet next to the third row seat. These items are not necessary in the use of the car as the key buttons open the doors and start the car. Oh, also have a new key for the car. I bought this car off EBAY 04/14 from a Chicago high end dealer that forgot to mention the above items were not working/in need of repair. It is a different car now getting the attention it deserved. Please only serious inquiries about this car, o low offers will be acknowledged as I don't need to sell the car. Not interested in hearing about "book" value as it means nothing for these cars.
