W-126 is considered by many the best S-class ever made. and the beautiful Bruno Sacco design makes it so much better. I certainly agree with the assessment. this is my third 126. and all. including this one were very good. Parts are readily available and repairs are simple. very lucky to have excellent Mercedes repair shop here in Little Rock. Many new (installed between 87K and 90K) parts: transmission. master cylinder. muffler. ac compressor (rebuilt). wheels. and tires. Nothing was done (nothing was needed) during last 5K. other than regular oil change. Original Mercedes battery installed by previous owner shows attention to proper maintenance. W-126s appear to have significant longevity. I see many ads for these with mileage over 200K. Many options including heated front and rear seats. This 560 SEL is in excellent mechanical condition.
