Description

Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, n sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, n order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautiful example of this obviously always rust free 1967 Mercury Cougar coupe loaded with rare factory options and which was originally sold on 2/14/67 at 'Cinema Lincoln Mercury' of Burbank, California to its original southern California owner and always obviously garaged and babied for it's entire life and which will be sold with its 'Deluxe Marti Report'!
The car was ordered on 12/22/1966 and built in Dearborn, I on 1/18/1967 with a 289 4 barrel V8 engine which reportedly has been replaced with a 302/270HP V8 engine and a very desirable upgraded 3 speed manual transmission and GT emblems and wheel covers, ts original factory 'Polar White' color paint, Ford paint code 1619-A) with an 'Aqua' vinyl bucket seat interior and other factory ordered options including:
Closed Crankcase Emission System
Exhaust Emission Control
Courtesy Light Group

AM/FM Radio
Deluxe Seat Belts
Door Edge Guards

The car has a beautiful repaint in its original and correct 'Polar White' color paint and its mostly all original 'Aqua Vinyl Bucket Seats Interior' and which still boasts its original factory radio.
This particular car must be seen and driven to be fully appreciated - a seriously striking example which turns heads wherever she goes! The engine is extremely strong and responsive with excellent oil pressure and no noticeable oil leaks and which sounds absolutely magnificent, he 3 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool.
This must be one of the nicest completely rust free and beautifully kept examples of an early Mercury Cougar available anywhere of this increasingly collectible and desirable of pony cars, oaded and upgraded with highly desirable options including a 3 speed manual transmission and 302 V8 engine, ith 72K actual miles as stated on its issued title dated 6/6/2015, n turn-key ready daily driving, aily head-turning, nd daily appreciating condition!
