1951 MERCURY Woody woodie FLATHEAD OVERDRIVE

I'm listing this car for my neighbor. He is selling it out of his collection. He has owned this car for over 18 years. When he first bought the woody he drove it to many woody car shows in the Santa Cruz. Santa Barbara and Los Angeles areas. The car is a good and reliable driver. The last twelve years it has mainly stayed in his collection and been driven monthly. The woody runs and stops as it should. the three speed transmission with overdrive works great. just rebuilt. He believes that the car had a total restoration 19 or 20 years ago. All the wood is in nice condition. most of the paint is good to very good with the exception of the tailgate where it is starting to lift in some places(See pictures). The chrome work and stainless also are in nice condition. He also told me that the radio has never worked. Thanks for looking.
