2016 SHELBY F-150 EXTERIOR

From a far, ne can tell that this is not an ordinary F-150 as the truck features a host of tweaks on its exterior profile.

The changes start with the front bumper which has been done away with and in its place a tube frame unit featuring an opening for an LED light-bar. Another new feature at the front is the three prominent horizontally-shaped grilles. Its corners sections have been fitted with mesh guards. The front also features a polycarbonate hood. At the rear, he truck features a customized steel unit in place of the factory bumper on the standard F-150. The bumper unit features stainless steel rivets and LED light pods.

To complete the rear styling is a dual-tip exhaust system which is placed beneath the quarter-panel on the right. Other features include new fog lights, beefed up bonnet and a new skid plate. The truck rides on customized 18-inch wheels which are wrapped in the latest K02 all-terrain tires from BF Goodrich. To ensure no terrain posses a challenge, he vehicle is equipped with 2.5-inch internal bypass reservoir shock absorbers with speed adjusters.

The vehicle also gets a unique paint job with the base model getting a blue paint and twin-white racing stripes that appear to “split” it in half. Customers can also order for the Mustang-inspired racing stripes.

You won’t believe this but Shelby made 45 high-performance enhancements to hook up the F-150 with 700 horses.

The base model is equipped with the 5.0 L Ti-VCT V8 power plant that delivers 385 hp and 387 lb-ft of torque. To push the output to 700 hp, helby has added a supercharger, huge cold air intake, igh flow injectors, luminum heat exchange and a billet aluminum high-flow throttle body.

To make sure its presence is felt wherever it goes, he 2016 Shelby F-150 is fitted with a Borla dual-exhaust system.With all these improvements the new 2016 Shelby F-150 accelerates from 0-60 mph in about 4.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 135 mph.
