Description

Officially hitting the market is my well cared for 2003 EVO VIII.
The car has 106,5xx miles on it, s conservatively tuned for safety and mildly built. As of 2006, became the second owner. It was my daily driver for about four years and has since become an occasionally used recreational vehicle. The car is kept in the garage and has very minimal rust underneath as a result. The rear quarter panel has been re-sprayed and the passenger door was fixed for a dent (color is slightly off but there is no peeling of paint anywhere on the vehicle.) This car is definitely in much better condition than most cars of this age- all electronics (windows, ipers, unroof, tc.) work well. The Brembos have had a fresh coat of clear a few years back. The carbon fiber wing is excellent. The interior is in good condition- no rips, he backseat is in mint condition, ever smoked in, ut the front Recaros definitely have shown their age. The car runs strong and is very reliable- I recommend a retune to open up its full potential. I have attached a list of modifications and vehicle descriptions below- if there are any specific questions, lease reach out directly:

PROJECTS TO WORK ON:
Due to a mishap while working on the rear passenger hub two years ago, accidentally dropped the axle and have taken out a tooth. Without having a replacement axle, placed it back in without thinking. Lo and behold, he ABS started acting up and ABS light comes on. Will need to be checked and possibly need a replacement axle. And because of this, he rotors have warped.
AC compressor seized up as well last year. Since I rarely used the car within the past 3-4 years (I literally only use it an average of 1K miles/year since it became a weekend car,) I didn't bother replacing the AC compressor and bypassed it by using a shorter belt.
Despite these quirks, he car pulls strong and has never failed me. I regularly change the oil with Mobil 1 synthetic every 3K miles as a daily, hanged before and after storage when it became a weekend car.

Serious bidders/buyers only. The pictures are a great representation of the condition of the vehicle but it definitely shows better in person. The car is being sold as-is with no warranty. I will require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit immediately after auction ends. Full payment is to be made within 3 days via a cashier’s check only. I am willing to be somewhat flexible on payment time depending on the buyer’s geographic location. You have the option to drive it back if you have your own plate or tow it. You can also arrange shipping if you'd like; however I will not set up shipping for you.
The vehicle is also listed locally and I reserve the right to pull this auction at any time. I am willing to drive and deliver the car a maximum of 100 miles if you provide a $1000 deposit and pay the remaining balance upon delivery.
As much as it pains me to part ways with her, dulthood has taken over, riorities have changed and it's time for her to find a new home. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
