Description

You are bidding on a 1960 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Holiday hardtop. I've owned the car since 2013. and since then have made a lot of improvements to it. I have completely gone through the fuel system. it now has a brand new fuel tank. all rubber hoses. a brand new electric fuel pump and a fully rebuilt carburetor. I went through the brake system as well with new hoses. wheel cylinders. linings. a rebuilt booster and master cylinder. When I got the car it had two blown exhaust gaskets. I pulled both heads. had them rebuilt with new valve guides and seals. hardened valve seats and brand new exhaust gaskets. The car has power steering and brakes. All the windows roll up and down smoothly. the original tube type radio still works great as do all the gauges. The passenger fender has some damage it looks like a tire let go and folded the fender in The interior is in nice shape. but could use some TLC. It appears there was a water leak at some point and it stained the back seat and carpet. a good steaming should get it out. There is no rust out under the car anywhere. just good dry metal. The trunk is equally good. the weather strip channel has some rust in one spot. but it doesn't penetrate the metal. The lining looks good but could stand a thorough cleaning I never did it to preserve the original floor lining. All the lights work and the engine runs well with no abnormal noises. The Jet-A-Way automatic shifts flawlessly and the rear end makes no whining sounds. It does leak oil. as would any original 50 year old car would. but included in the sale is the remaining gaskets to reseal the bottom of the engine. The car has factory AC that has been converted to R134A but will need new O-rings and a recharge as all the freon has leaked out since I rebuilt the heads (i had to remove the compressor) All in all this would be a great car to cruise in and an even better start to a project. or just drive it as is. as I have. After full payment has been received and verified. I will mail you the title. I would be happy to help load the vehicle with a shipper.
