1972 Oldsmobile 442 Tribute

We are offering for sale this beautiful Olds 442 " Tribute" two door hard top. This car spent most of its life in Sunny California. With rebuilt 455 engine. the 400 automatic transmission on the floor with center console. Just 73. 14 miles we believe these miles are correct. This beauty was painted a couple years ago but still looks great. The judges at 2014 West Herr Classic Car Show (near Buffalo. N. Y. ) were so impressed by this car they gave it the Best olds trophy. Several nice olds were in the show. Placks for the different classes and only one trophy for the best. The raised back end was achieved by using longer coil springs in the rear of the car. I have the original rear springs and I would be happy to put them in for you if you like the original type look. Those springs are like new and it only takes 1 hr. to change them back. The interior is also excellent. With new carpet and sill plates. No rips or tears in the seats. Chrome very nice. Bumpers were chromed and show excellent. All original sheet metal. I could find no rust under or on body. The black vinyl top is excellent. must have been replaced at some point cause it looks new. The car runs and drives as good as it looks. Power Steering. Original Radio. Nice chrome wheels. Has nice rumble in the exhaust. Not sure if flowmaster. but could be. It is that type of exhaust system. Engine and trunk compartment excellent. This is very nice olds that gets attention were ever it goes. I asking myself. now why am I selling this car. Ok better hurry on this car. I could change my mind at any moment now.
