Description

1966 Oldsmobile F-85 Wagon 455 Big Block

90% of the trim etc not shown on the car DOES COME WITH THE CAR !!
SAME WITH THE GLASS, T ALL COMES WITH IT. IT was just getting ready
for paint so most all of it was removed !! We show pics of the loose parts
near the bottom of all the pics showing you its there.
VERY RARE ANDDESIRABLE - Wagon value$ are on the riSE
So invest in a nice one like this now ! Seeing as this car was has
already had some restoration done, tarting the the drivetrain
There are alot of new and updated parts you cant see right away
PLEASE read thru the whole description before just checking out
all the pics to see how much has been invested into this car so far.
ALOT of 442 owners are turning wagons into 442 clones which is a
great idea and if done correctly, he cars value only gets better.
Some brief history on the car..
For many yrs in the 80s and 90s this car was just left for dead here in the
Az desert. Finally wagons started becoming cool again to people who could
appreciate them and in the mid 2000s this car started beingresurrected.
A 73 455 motor was rebuilt and freshened up and that started the process.
Its been in Az for as long as we can track
it, o rust is minimal at best on this car. It runs and drives great down the
road. Mechanically the only thing Id say it needs right away is the transmission
cable adaptor kit for the more modern 200R transmission. Do that and it
can be driven safely anywhere long term. Ive buzzed it around the block a
few times but really wanted the OD to work properly etc before making it
a daily and there are kits out there just for this type of mod.
This car was built to be a Resto Mod for either the HRPT or a tow vehicle
for taking that race car in the garage to the next meet. Roll up to track
next event in this and youll have more people crowding around your
wagon then most race cars.

OUR 100% feedback speaks for itself
and many of our feedback are from about 15 cars we sold just this past
year here on EBay. We put more time and effort into our ads making it much
easier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence.
NOT MANY OF THESE WAGONS left with original sheetmetal still like this one.
All the glass comes with the car (3 pcs's are currently not installed)
Our auctions clearly show the most detail of what to expect
Over any other auctions Ive seen online. Buy with confidence !!
Seeing as this Is an AZ car, t did have factory AC is a plus and the lack of rust on this car is amazing.
It has a few small spots, ut any paint shop in the world would be in heaven when it comes
to restoring this car.

We try to show all the areas well in the 100+ pics below.
You can rest assure, e try to show more areas of our cars for sale then any
Other seller on EBay. Its the easiest way to buy long distance with less drama.
Arizona cars are time capsules half the time and the best kind to restore.
This is about our 3rd early wagon we have sold in ebay in the last yr .
We do all we can to make the process smooth and simple for everyone involved.
We dont come across these early 60s wagons often here in Tucson.

DRIVETRAIN: the original small block was ditched a few yrs ago.
It was replaced with a 455 Motor out of a early 70s Olds full size car.
LOTS of torque like you would expect from a 455. Its not been tuned
up in a few yrs, ut it may need a fresh set of plugs etc.
The motor was rebuilt about 30k miles ago. They went .030 over on
the slugs, ut other then that its basically stock. And it has no leaks.
On top is a recently rebuilt quadrajet. Matted to the motor is a later
model GM 200-4R transmission, lso rebuilt with only about 15k miles
on it and it shifts great. Outback is a 12 bolt rearend basically stock
and open with I think holding something like a 3:50 ratio. Hit the key
and it fires right up and ready to go. This originally was an AC car
so to put AC back in the car, ont be too bad. Car still has PS too w/
some new components there too. Fuel pump and Radiator are NEW.
Under the car, t has a brand new super clean custom dual exhaust
system on the car front to rear, ll new and sounds great !
The Factory OLDs 14x7 Rally wheels look great and have a new set
of tires on them too.
INTERIOR: old and AZ original but it shows pretty well used up and
needs to be totally redone front to back. Seeing as its ready for paint
outside, t least you can finish it with the color combination you want.
Interior is really complete, o you wont have to spend alot of time tracking
down parts at least, nd the 2nd row is a fold down too. It is a 6 Passenger
car with no rear facing seats. The car comes with ALL the missing glass not
shown installed on the car in the pics. It will be safely packed in the car.
Windows etc all work on rest of the 4 doors. With all the chrome on these
cars from the factory, hen these interiors are done, hey look great.
Both rear side glass pieces where taken out to get ready for paint
As was the tailgate glass was removed too. All 3 will come with the car
packed safely in the back seat area when the car ships.
Also, ll 4 original door panels do come with the car, hey are in bad
Shape, ut could be used to make patterns maybe and of course you
would want to take any trim off them for the new panels.

EXTERIOR: originally the car was , ith all the mechanicals pretty much
done on the car, he paint was next. The body is in primer and needed little to
no body work to get it where you see it now. Obviously it was almost fully
dechromed and de trimmed getting it ready for paint, e have what I believe
all the trim taken off the car, omes loose in the back of the car. (see pics)
Floors are in amazing shape and very rust free too. Its basically a blank
canvas ready to finish. The body work was done from a reputable good body
man here in town who I trust 100%. The trim will probably all need to be
polished and some pcs fixed, ut still better then most cars out there.
(see pics) Also, heck out the pic below of all the trim (bright work)
and or stainless that does come with
the car if you want it (which most was removed getting ready for the
paint job). I believe all is accounted for too.

SUSPENSION: other then the drivetrain, his is where alot of money was
recently spent on the car. The car has new urethane bushings front and
rear with the correct grease installed. The rear trailing arms are boxed from
the factory, retty cool. It has new Springs both F/R. A large rear sway bar was
added to the back. The front was converted to DISC with new parts as well as
having a new power brake booster and master. Brakes recently bled too.
This car HANDLES very well for its size and stops great too. Shocks all around
are NEW too. Im sure Im forgetting something, ut thats a start on what
you are looking at buying. (SEE ALL THE PICS TOO BELOW)

Check out ALL the pics below ----->
If other auctions are not showing areas under their cars,
who really knows what sort of shape its in. Dont find out
the hard and $$ way. At least our auctions show as much
as possible to potential buyers and bidders.

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, o be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
