Description

1982 Gatsby Roadster. Up for auction is a handsome rare neo-classic roadster. This is a car that lived in Los Angeles area near UCLA/Beverly Hills. The car has a CA state issued vin/control# CA750990. The car has a Ford 5. 0 v8 and automatic transmission. I have read that these cars are based on a modified late 70s/early 80s thunder-bird/cougar chassis with MG "tub" and the rest is the Gatsby kit. The car runs and drives. sounds good and brakes/steers well. Most of the gauges work. Nardi steering wheel. tilt steering. stereo with power antenna. The soft top canvas material is worn. The car would be a nice/fun "daily driver" level toy. please see pictures. The car is an estate sale item and had been sitting for a few years. We flushed the fuel system and gave the car a full tune up with carburator rebuild. *****TITLE: this car is sold on "lien sale papers" only. the previous owner had passed away and the car was sold by the estate. In California. 1982 cars are required to be smogged. The car is for sale to OUT OF STATE buyers only. please check with you local authorities to verify that you will be able to register this car. The car was previously registered in California till 2005 with a clean title. If you are in California and want to buy this car. we will sell this car for parts or restoration.
