1970 American Motors Rebel Machine

Here is a rare find! Up for bid is a 1970 AMC Rebel Machine it has a 390 with automatic transmission. It is a very rare car being in Matador red. there was only around 2100 of these cars ever built and less than half of that were available in solid AMC colors and even fewer made in red. The car does run and drive but it has low compression on the drivers side cylinders. when we got the car the heads were off. they were taken to a local machine shop and cleaned up and checked out ok. After reassembly the car runs but has heavy blow by and low compression on the one side. the rings could just be stuck from sitting but we are unsure. the carb also needs a little work from sitting. The interior appears to be original and is in great shape all gauges work including the tach on the hood. Overall the car is very solid. but the inner rockers are rusty. I am selling this car for someone and the history is unknown but please ask any questions you have and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
