Description

1970 Ford Ranger XLT1970 RANGER V8 390 XLT CAMPER SPECIAL w/ ONAN ELECTRIC POWER PAK / RARE / NO RESERVE Clean 1970 California rust free Black Plate FORD RANGER XLT F250 with strong working ONAN Electric Power Pak (today called generator) Very rare option! It is a 2500-watt generator set. provides household power (110/120) Volts right on your job for electrical tools. and camping equipment. The unit is driven by its own one-cylinder. 5 1/2-hp air-cooled onboard engine. The 390 long block Engine was rebuilt in 2002 @ cost of $1880 (Densmore Engines in Fresno). New pistons. RV cam including magnaflux cylinder heads. surfaced. seats machined. and new valve guides. new intake valves. exhaust valves. valve springs and stems. new rocker arms and push rods. Front Disc brakes and rear drum stop the truck great. Nice working cold blowing AC. Heater works great as well. Body is in great condition! Painted original green in 2005 and shows well. The Bed looks as if it has never been used!Starts. runs and drives well. Truck is not being represented as a show truck but overall a great. good looking classic truck! All electrical in working order except (radio not working). Comes with Original build sheet and thousand in receipts! It is a 2 owner truck always garaged. It has had 1 repaint the original Boxwood Green and still shows wellWe put in a new neutral safety switch in & the water pump was just replacedHas 16" chrome rims I wanted to note a couple of small imperfections: the Dash Pad is cracked slightly (see pic). There is a tiny chip in window the size of eraser head. its hardily visible but it's worth noting. The drivers side seat springs are a bit worn down. but the original upholstery is in good condition. The Power-Pack generator has just started to act up and doesn't start reliably. We never use it and it never effects how the truck engine runs. Still drives strong. Its a 40 year old truck but it its a really beauty!
