Up for grabs is a custom Crew Cab 1992 BMY Harsco M923A2. The truck started out as a normal 2 door M934 truck. The objective of this build was to keep factory specs of the truck but with adding the room for more passengers. Using the long wheel base truck enabled us to keep the tandem axles and not have to extended the frame. The truck has 10. 00 +/- miles and 350 +/- hours. Exterior: The bed used is a standard 14 ft bed that would be found on any typical M923. The spare tire is still in the correct location and contains a new spare but the exhaust has been changed to a 5 inch straight pipe and ran out the rear of the truck. The bed has been rhino lined and still contains the troop seats and side rails. At the front of the bed custom built storage boxes have been made to surround the A/C condenser. These boxes have been rhino lined as well. The expanded metal still allows air to flow through the condenser as well as keep it protected. Interior: The interior is what sets the truck apart. Once the cabs and roof were welded together 2 gallons of Lizard Skin sound deadener were sprayed throughout. The floors were covered with 40 oz carpet padding. followed by automotive carpet. The front and rear seats were reupholstered with black leather. The bench seat is capable of holding 3 people and the 2 air ride bucket seats out of a freight liner provide a very nice ride up front. The center console was built to enclose the AC unit as well cup holders and a glove box. This also houses the EGT gauge with an alarm to alert you when temps start getting too hot and switches for the AC controls. Since the last listing I have fitted the truck with a keyed Ignition as well. What about tunes? Well a double din touch screen radio is mounted to the roof along with 4 speakers mounted throughout the cab. The headliner matches the rest of the interior and features a function turret with hatch. Power Pack: This beast is powered by the sought after 8. 3 Turbo Cummins. The injection pump has been turned up so it fuels faster and has a better throttle response. The truck is equipped with an 5 speed automatic Allison transmission. and has an air shift transfer case to lock the front axle into 6x6.
