1937 Terraplane series 78 Big Boy closed cab pickup truck. NO TITLE. (bill of sale will be provided)I purchased this truck with the intent of restoring it to original. but have since found a different Hudson truck to work on. I am thus selling this truck to help fund the restoration of another. So. Up for sale is a real. 124" wheelbase. Terraplane series 78 big boy pickup truck. Terraplanes are rare. the trucks are even more rare. and the series 78 trucks (both 70 and 78 were built in 1937) are EVEN MORE RARE! If you are looking for a start to a unique and rare restoration project. one-of-a-kind hot rod. street rod. or awesome patina - style rat rod. this is the truck for you. Most people have never seen a Hudson pickup. let alone a legitimate pre-war Terraplane commercial vehicle. History of this particular vehicle: - Earliest record of the truck indicates ownership by a noted California Hudson dealer. where truck likely spent its early life. - Truck then sold to an owner in Arizona - Truck then sold to an owner in Tennessee - Truck again sold to a fellow in Arkansas - Finally. truck purchased by me for restoration. This truck has only been in Minnesota. in storage. for less than a year. Condition (please see pictures as well):- This truck could be restored but it would be an intensive project. When finished these trucks do very well at auction both restored and rodded. It would make a great patina rod. shop truck. or something else! - Great Patina- Floor pans rusted out. - Straight box- Front fenders rough but usable for a rat rod- Rear fenders decent. selling point for me on this truck.
