Description

Up For Auction - Bradley GT2 Kit Car on 1969 Volkswagen frame. This is a cool little car with gullwing doors and a sleek body style. I get so many head turners in this car. No one really knows what kind of car this is "Is that a Delorean" "Is that a Porsche". This was my uncles car 20 years ago then he passed. At the time I was only 15 and could not afford to buy it from the lawyer who took it as payment for settling his estate. Finally tracked it back down a few months ago and was able to get it. Now that I have it. I'm not really wanting to do much with it. Mainly because I don't fit in the car very well. I'm 6'3 260 pounds and it's really hard to get in and out. I don't want to put a lot of time and effort into a car that I can't Drive. Condition - All in all it's a nicer looking Bradley. From what I've seen. it's in better condition then the last few I've seen for sale. I trust it to start every time and to make short road trips. Car needs restored. It wouldn't take much to make this a nice ride again. I have the kit manual. Bradley hood badge and lots of extra parts (pictured). Car has been garaged for the last 10 years and drove only in the summer. Maybe only put 100 to 500 miles a year on it (This is just what the previous owner has told me). When I did pick up the car. it was in a garage with a car cover on it. Odometer reads 23818. Engine - was rebuilt about 5000 miles ago and runs strong. It does leak oil. Not sure exactly where it's coming from. The points distributor was changed out. Has a new battery. Newer generator and carburetor. Brakes and wheels - Brakes work. may need adjusted and bled. Emergency brake is not hooked up. Tires are a little bigger on the back. Front tires do not really seat right on the rim but never had a problem with them (They are filled with nitrogen). Interior - All gauges work. Carpet is in good condition except on drivers side floor near console. Seats were recovered awhile ago but drivers side is starting to lose it's integrity. Pedals have grip tape on them for right now. Original speakers are gone. Has a CD player. amplifier and speakers. Had to disconnect amp because it was draining the battery. So the stereo system is not working right now. Not sure what goes on the door handles. it seems like they are missing the knobs or some sort of a top for them. Body - Is in good condition. Needs repainted. Has some small repairs that were just covered up with spray paint. Hardly has any fiberglass problems (like fractures or cracks). The doors and the latches need some work and realignment. Both doors have wear on the bottoms (they will need some work). Passenger front wheel well has been hit (would be an easy fix). Passenger side rear view mirror is broke off. Windshield has 2 cracks going down the middle. Other components - Windshield wipers have not worked since I've owned it and have not looked into it yet. The switch looks like it does have power. The headlights do not come up but the cruise lights. brake lights and blinkers work. The motor for the headlights is not working to roll the headlights up and down and is disconnected right now. I tried to describe the car as best as I could and take pictures to show it's condition. Car needs some work but it's all there to make a great restore or a Saturday driver. Please message me for any other details or questions There will be a $500. 00 nonrefundable deposit to the winning bidder within 48 hours after the end of the auction. Thanks For Looking!
